Did it just show up on the schedule or was there an announcement? Just wondering cause I would like to see the Atlantic City event(s) come back and I don't know how I would find out if they did. I am also not holding my breath since I don't think it'll happen.

Heard rumors circulating in the south that a New Orleans stop is in the works for May 2023. But havent seen anything official on it yet.

Also rumors of a Baltimore Horseshoe Spring 23 event.

Last time it was in Baltimore fall 2019 the main event had overlay on either a 400k or 500k guarantee. Very disappointing with so many people in a 90mile radius.

Based on the tweet I just saw - yes. Some tables outside the poker room on the floor.

If I remember correctly, Paris and Ballys had huge WSOP area separate from their Poker Room ( If they have any)

Been a lot of complaints on twitter about the Horseshoe tables on the general gaming floor and being flooded with cigarette smoke from nearby slow machines… hopefully next time they use one of their conference rooms or something so that isn’t an issue

I played the OE event. It was horrible. The rebranding didn't really clean up the place much. I haven't been in Bally's for awhile but the air was better but still had smoke. I do remember last time I was in there I had to leave but this time it was bearable. Yes tables were on casino floor which I hate. Dealers were very bad and floor was just as bad. They obviously didn't prepare and assumed the turnout for the OE would be light and it wasn't. Kept slowing up the game by high carding for players which is a joke. It's amazing that the Orleans runs a better tournament. Oh well. One and out for me. Not to mention taking $70 out of a $400 event you would expect more.

That $330+70 is pretty normal for the $400 WSOPC events… hopefully they adjust and listen to the criticism for the next circuit event. Seems there was a ton of demand and they weren’t prepared

That should be no surprise at all, considering OE is a regular everyday game at the Orleans, and never runs at Ballys.

It is a mixed game alternating between Omaha Hi-Lo and Stud Hi-Lo. It's a limit game if thats what you are asking.

It wasn't the game that was the issue. The schedule from the beginning was ripe for conflicts once the OE had 4 to 5 times the people they expected. I don't mind 17% juice on a tourney just run it right.

4 to 5 times expectations? They expected 10 and got 40?

My best guess is they expected 80 and got 281. So 3 or 4x.

+1 Been playing a few events and it is awful dealing with the smoke. Especially where the cashier is located I was standing in line and couldn't avoid endless smoke. Dealers that are there just for the series have also been really bad.

Btw Deerfoot casino in Calgary Canada is running another WSOPC event in May 3-15th, Schedule should be out very soon for it.

How come there is nothing in Canada?

I'm playing my first WSOP circuit event, Event #2 at Turning Stone in a couple weeks.

I was planning on arriving for the 10am Saturday Flight D - is there any chance I get shut out if there's a ton of people playing the 4th / last flight?

"Shut out" is almost certainly no, but it's likely that said flight will use alternates at some point. Whether that starts before the tournament starts or after the tournament starts, no idea. I'd guess that you'd be pretty safe if you register anytime before 9:30, but it's probably a bit of a guessing game if you start later.

Did Bally's Circuit have any single table satellites?

Perhaps this is a BBV post, but I wanted to check back in and say that - in my first live casino tournament in over 15 years - I came in 76th out of 2400 runners.

It was a thrill - happy with my play throughout, although I found myself 3! shoving 8bb with 0 fold equity with AKd.
