Graton Casino is in Rohnert Park, CA in Sonoma County approx. 50 miles north of San Francisco. This is the first WSOP Circuit stop there.

I'm excited to play a few tournaments, and hope this series is a success, because I live just a few miles away in Petaluma. Would be nice to have a good tournament series I don't have to travel to play.

It ain't Las Vegas, so perhaps anticlimactic after the WSOP there recently. Not much going on late at night in the suburbs near the casino. But on the flip side, it ain't Las Vegas, and there are trees and a marine layer, so you can walk outside without frying in the desert heat in between poker sessions.

It's a Stations casino, so it's fairly nice. Should be decent cash action, because there is when there's no tournament.

I used to live in Petaluma, it can get hot there in August, and it's humid, which makes it worse.

Graton Casino is nice, it was a nice trip from SF area, decent cash game action, but yep it's in the middle of nowhere, don't expect anything else going on nearby, maybe wine tasting tours or something...
