Once you created a WSOP tournament account and put money on it (I plan to do it, cash, when I arrive in the Rio). Are you able to see how much you have on your account? When I log in to the account I created on Bravo, I can't find a screen that shows me my balance (0$ for now).
Thanks!

To be clear, if I early reg online via Bravo for a tourney that starts @ 12PM with late reg at 6PM, I can't just come in anytime before late reg ends with a full stack?

I would like to reg early to avoid lines, etc but come in as a "late-reg". Is this possible? Or do I need to actually late-reg to have late-reg status?

Thanks!

Your chips will be in play from the start and you’ll be picked up at the beginning of level 3 if you don’t show up. You can’t pre reg if you plan on showing up late. Just register on the app right when you’re ready to sit down

card issuers have every right to process the transaction as a cash advance

call your card issuer to lower your cash advance limit to less than the buy in amount

They might have the right to do so, but I didn't hear anyone who encountered that issue. So don't worry too much abt it peeps!

true, i was mainly responding to the talk about lawyers and such

and its a good idea to have the cash advance limit set to zero anyway

Ok thanks. I knew the cage was 24/7 but wasn't sure about the rotunda since that's just for cc registration.

I can’t find it on all tournies, but atleast the Big 50 your chips are NOT in play until you are seated. You will start with a full stack when seated. But will be picked up after Level 3...

“Players will start with a full chip stack when they are seated to begin play.
Chips will not be put in play until player checks in to assigned table.
Players in 11am flights must be in their seat by 1:00 pm (start of Level 3). After 1:00pm, players will have their seat voided and refunded if they haven't shown. Seat is subject to sale to other players, with original player only eligible for other flights.
Players in 10am flights must be seated by 12:00 noon (start of Level 3). After 12:00, players will have their seat voided and refunded if they haven't shown. Seat is subject to sale to other players, with original player only eligible for other flights.”

FYI just in case

I regged Event #28 $1k NLHE and it shows me registered on Bravo, but I never got any kind of confirmation e-mail, which just seems a little weird to me. Do they just not send one? I seem to recall getting one last year when I played the Giant.

Where exactly do we sign up and deposit cash for the WTA? Is it in the actual Rio hotel cage area or is it in the Rio convention area where the events are played and tournament registration has always been located? I've see "rotunda" mentioned above, I must be clueless but I am not sure what the "rotunda" is or where its located. Normally would not sweat it and walk around and figure it out, but on crutches and want to limit the walking and park in optimal location.

The rotunda is to get your ID and credit card checked before you can print your tix on the fast tracks machine.
For the cash deposit on a WTA, you have to go to the WSOP main cage. I heard from Kevmath that for still a few day, it will be somewhere else (at the service booth, in the convention area). Not sure where that is. I land tonight and plan to find it.

It should show up, but if it was like the past two years, it may be a week. I had them show up after the event was over on some I registered for the day prior and had paid by credit card...

Keep us posted. If there’s a way to set up the tournament account without waiting on line for the main cage that would be great with the masses coming in.

Do you really have to register your first tournament online 72 hours before?

I wanted to online register tomorrow for Sat. morning big 50 flight.

Anyone have any insight on how registering at the cage with CC works? Planning on regging via CC for points and paying bill cash etc. Can you do full buyins via CC? Partial chips partial card for larger buyins? Is it all instant or does have to be 72 hours prior like your first online CC buyin?
CC = credit card

I'm here, and had success setting up a WTA (WSOP Tournament Account) today. This was not without a significant hassle first. Absent good live info, I waited in the long line to reg for Big50 1A. I asked the girl about opening a WTA, and way too easily accepted her wrong answer that I had to go to the separate FasTrac line. Once there I realized this line was only for people who had set up BravoLive accounts, and paid their entries already. I said F it, and bought into a different event next week by CC, just to set up an account.

So I went to Player Services/Refunds, which is past the main cage, and past the VIP registration. There people kept handing me off until main supervisor apologized, and said go to open window. There it took like 7 different cashiers to understand the simple thing I was describing. I got another supervisor who understood, took my cash and added it to my account! There's no minimum, he said. Now, if I go into BravoLive, it shows Tournament credits as a buy-in option.

There's one caveat here- I set up my bravoLive account before creating the WTA. Can't imagine why they couldn't do it in Player Services. Also, I'm not sure everyone will have it as easy as I did ultimately creating the WTA. However, you should definitely be able to createit after waiting in whatever long line you face at the main cage, in the worst case scenario.

No, you cannot use a stolen Credit Card to register for events

Unless things have changed from the past two years, they can swipe the card in the rotunda for the first event, print your ticket and you go take your seat moments later. You are then good to go with the kiosk for all other events after that. Not sure where the 72 hours stuff is coming in to the equation...

Entire buy-in can be placed on the card provided your card won't burp on the amount...I don't know if they can split the buy-in so multiple payments can be made totaling the amount. It would make no sense to do it that way, but I am sure someone has tried it...

Last year, I had an event that I actually did the online registration while standing IN the line to verify the card. Everything was in the system by the time I got to the window. I did not get my confirmation email for a few days though...but I played my event. Speed of the confirmation email was consistent with the previous year...

If walking from the casino, it is at the end of the long hallway, to the right.

If entering through the WSOP entrance, walk about 50 feet straight ahead and it's on your left.

Online registration with bravo***********.com is the nuts. Initial tournament entry and CC verification went quickly. The next buy-in and kiosk pickup was even easier. Unless you love standing in long lines, do online registration.

If a CC was verified last year and use it for the first online registration do you have to verify again this year?
