2 chances in the $1K Mega, 1 chance in the $2K Mega, or STS's (2 1Ks), or other.

The 1K MTSs are the best value satellites IMO.

Another Q for the veterans. I'm playing 1C of the ME and I'll be driving. I'm assuming it is a bit of a cluster for those trying to get to the tables by 11 am on this start date? Any advice on beating traffic (e.g., a good time to arrive?).

I have never played the main, but have played large field events with the same or more people in a starting flight this year or in years past (collosus, milly maker, 565 PLO) and never had any problems making it to my table on time leaving 1 hr before from the strip. I have always gotten into the WSOP area with plenty of time to spare, always with a half hour or more to spare. Not sure though where you are coming from.
Note i was always already registered for the event, if you need to register as well then I have no idea.

Just realized it doesn't start until 11 so I doubt anyone has seen any coverage yet. But when it starts going on pokergo, if someone can let us know how the coverage is, it would be appreciated.

ESPN2 is showing the end of a softball game instead. They say it's on ESPNNews but I don't get that channel. They should move this to ESPNNews and show poker, dang it!

I liked the coverage. The commentary wasn't great. I think the live broadcasts will be good for bringing in some new people to the game.

Hi guys,

I'm being forced to arrive late on day 1c and unfortunately also still have to register. I'll probably get to the Rio around 1pm. What horrors do I have waiting for me in terms of registration line? Will there be alternates or will I get a seat straight away? Just want to be mentally prepared so I don't get pissed off with it all!

Don't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to just register and be seated. Gone are the days where players have been shut out because they have so many more tables now.

Don't rely on this advice though. I've never got there late

That's not instantaneous either if he hasn't been set up yet. I don't know how long that takes.
