Hi guys, wondering if I could get opinions on which tournament is the best bang for my buck, or which individual tournaments posters here like, or venue for that matter. I'm arriving 6/26 and leaving 6PM on the 30th, I'm looking for a tournament under $1,000. I was thinking the $400 PH 6-handed tournament on the 27th, but then I'm hearing a lot about big payouts for the WSOP dailies, I see there are several to choose from as well. Any opinions on the matter are welcome, my long shot goal would be to make a deep run in a tournament and then enter the $365 WSOP Friday nights tournament since the cumulative Day 2 for all of them is the 30th and I could then, depending on how I'm running, cancel my flight and rebook.

If 6 handed is your thing, then the PH tourney looks like your jam. If you prefer full ring then it looks like playing a daily deepstack or two at the Rio would be the ticket. Also note that the Giant plays into the money each flight. If I were in your shoes I would play a Daily Deepstack on Wednesday and then the Giant on Friday.

Thanks the response, is there any overall preference when it comes to WSOP dailies? I see there are different buy-ins for each of the times, any would work for me, I think I read that the prize pools get into the hundred thousand +, is that true? Thanks.

The $250 will have the biggest field and payouts. Exactly how big varies throughout the series. $50,000 or more up top is pretty common. I think I prefer the $200 though. Slightly slower structure and Big Blind Ante makes it a bit more appealing to me despite the somewhat lower payouts.
