The ME seems to be a perfect lead-in to the WSOPc ME at RIO. But if I only had one to play, I think I'm actually starting to lean towards the DSE ME over the RIO. Seems like the DSE ME is less expensive, has lower rake and deeper structure and all with the same guarantee. I played the WSOPc RIO ME last year and was not particularly thrilled with the location, but I suppose to each their own.
Anyhow what do people think about comparing the two MEs?
My trip will be over before the MEs at either location begin, however, I agree that the Venetian Main has slightly less rake and other advantages too. Such as 60 minute levels throughout and better “Structure Points” rating when compared to the Circuit Main. And $1,600 v $1,700
Anyway, I’ll be in some $600 and less events earlier - So good luck in whichever Main you end up playing.
I’ll probably be in town during both but I’m seriously considering just budgeting two bullets (if necessary) for the DSE. Just a bit down on the RIO. Really wish the WSOPc held the feb Vegas stop at Ballys instead of in March/April. Ballys really knocked it out of the park when they had this event a couple years ago.
