I have never seen anyone bringing a note book or laptop to take notes on during a poker tournament. Seems to me that keeping detailed notes on players would be advantageous to trying to remember each players tendencies.
In something like the main event you may play with someone day 1 and then run into them again on day 4 or 5. Memory is a funny thing; for example we all remember the bad beats we take but seldom remember those we put on others.
So I have two questions:
Has anyone ever seen anyone who does this and two is there a rule against it if you are not holding up the game? Could you look at your notebook while the hand is live?
