So I cashed in two WSOP events last year (humble brag?) and would have expected to receive a 1099-G or some sort of tax paperwork by now. Does anyone know whether the WSOP issues these to US citizens, or who I should contact to ask about this? Buyins were 2x$1K plus 2x$125 sattys for $2,250 in, and cashes were $2K plus $4,900+ for just under $7K if this is a factor in what they issue paperwork for.

You get tax forms given to you when payed out.
They take the tournament prize - buy in for the taxable amount
It must be >=$5k, you didn't qualify for taxes.
Self report if you wish.

W2G issued only when winnings exceed 5k net in a single event.
