It seems a few of us seniors are arriving Tuesday evening. Ya I definitely am resting Tuesday night and just play some cash for a few hours.

Looks like today had almost 500 runners and last Wed had almost 100. How many do you think will run next Wednesday, same day as Aria Senior?

This month, Golden Nugget has a $250 and a $400 seniors that gets a lot of runners. I won one a couple of years ago for $39k.

also, the weekly Wednesday seniors at Rio is taking $48 out of $250 buy in...that's ridiculous.

With all the seniors in Town this week and many staying at the Rio, I'm expecting 750 entries for this Wednesday's 9:00 a.m. Seniors daily event. Aria is probably a better tourney, but folks will gravitate to the Rio (plus gives you a chance to register for Thursday if you're not pre-registered)

Looks like Aria has a 300/500 level and 5k more starting chips, otherwise looks similar. Aria will need 250 runners to make the guarantee. if there are 750 entries at Rio, that is a $150k prize pool.

Will there be 1000 Seniors playing tourneys tomorrow morning between the two places?

Not sure how many runners there were at the Rio last Wednesday for the 9:00 a.m. seniors. Aria drew 565 entries (which is pretty impressive considering that they had only 360 seats). I finished 32nd for a decent cash of $1300 on the $470 buy-in -- could have been better. But it was a well-run tournament and good fun as a warm-up for the WSOP Seniors. My buddy, Allan, busted twice at the Aria, then finished 56th out of 5900 in the WSOP event -- so you never know.
