Hello ,
Planning to visit for upcoming WPT event . Was checking the room rate. Very pricey. This will be my first visit to the area.

Any suggestions in 4/5 miles driving distance for clean and safe accommodation?

How are Airbnb in the area ?

Yeah I was kinda surprised to see that Hard Rock wants almost $700 for a basic hotel room on Saturdays.

There are some really well-reviewed Airbnbs that are close to the casino for far less, I guess that seems to be the GTO lodging choice for playing the series.

That means a two-day stay at the casino is the same price as a two-week stay at the nearby airbnbs -- I applaud the Hard Rock for their optimism but that doesn't really seem like a good deal.

We are booked for two weeks, 14-Apr thru 28-Apr.

Cost is ~$2,050 at a Residence Inn for one bedroom Suite with Full Size Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Kitchen & Cabinets, Plates & Silverware.

Was going to try and go this weekend to play some events, but wow 1600/night for a hotel room is insane. Stayed there a few years ago was like 200-300/night. Is demand really that high right now or are they just jacking up prices because they know people have to stay there for the tournaments?
