William, are family members and significant others allowed in the tournament room to rail for a little bit and stop and say Hi? There was one point during event #1, when the answer was no, but I don't know if it's always like that.

WARNING TO ALL FOREIGN PLAYERS:

So when you cash a tournament (satellites too), the casino taxes you 30% unless you have your international tax number? and international tax card or something?

It's not like in Vegas where they apply for you etc

Now I'm in a situation where I have my international tax number because I applied for it in Vegas but I never received a card or anything..
I would of assumed the people in charge of the cashouts at the casino could provide me with some help regarding the matter since a ton of foreigners like me must of had the same problem but no they were rude and didn't give a crap.
So if anyone knows anything about the subject any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

i thought it was quite strange that both of my stacks were available for day 2 of the 350, does that mean if i busted out with one stack i could have shown my id for the second one and kept playing?

There are close to 400 satellite and promotional winners currently. Most of the registration currently is for Day 1A.

They can stop by to say hi, but can not stay in the tournament area. This is always subject to change do to field size and conditions. There are occasion when we need to ask everyone to leave the area for the benefit of the tournament.

They may have missed your 2nd stack when going through the list, but it was picked up when recognized. It does not mean you could play the 2nd stack.

William, could you please confirm the position re: taxing winnings of foreign nationals/residents? I don't have an International Tax Number or Card, and I'm flying in tomorrow to play the Megas... surely I won't be taxed if I win a seat?

Wow. How can you be taxed when you haven't won any cash?! Did they say what happens if she doesn't pay?

THIS

William can you please check and see if a TIN Number is sufficient (with a passport) to cashout? Can you provide us with some sort of help regarding this matter please?

I spent one hour waiting on the phone to speak someone from the IRS, they told me the only way I can have a document with my TIN number is for them to send it to my home in the UK and they have no idea how long it will take.

When you say subject to change, I assume you mean that the rules may become more restrictive under certain circumstances, but not less restrictive than the general rule. Can you confirm?

Yes, if you don't have an ITIN number there will be taxes withheld. If you do not have an ITIN, the cage will pay cash for the entry.

I spoke with the Dir of Cash Ops and he said a valid ITIN and a passport is sufficient. I also asked "Do they need the card or just the ITIN number?" and he said, "Just the number."

Could you assist us with getting the number? I've tried getting it through the IRS but I just keep being forwarded / put in wait. In Vegas the casinos can get your ITIN for you

Hi,

we just got all of our ITIN numbers.

Call +1 800 9089982

That's the direct number for ITIN services and they will provide you with your ITIN over the phone.

sorry if this has been answered, if we already have a seat from another location, can we play the Hollywood satellite, win, and collect cash for the seat? or must we sell/transfer to another player for cash?

Marc, you can only get cash for the 4th ticket you have (in Hollywood). If you want to transfer it, you have to do that in Tampa
