This tourney is generating so much buzz already it's sick. Going to have to empty all the post WSOP bullets into this one and have a long hard look in the mirror before deciding what fair mark up numbers are going to look like

I'm thinking as this gets closer that the poker room will suspend all cash high hand payouts and replace it with $550 mega-satellites seats as high hands. I can't see how they could reach 2K+ players without filling seats with satellite winners.

The Tampa HR has had the worst Promos in the past few months. They have to be swelling the coffers just for this event.

I would be shocked if it wasn't unlimited reentry each flight and potentially until the end of day 2 as well. With this many players, I don't know what the starting stack is, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was something like 50k ss with day 1 ending around 500/1000 and day 2 ending around 1200/2400 with unlimited reentry until end of day 2

Yeah it would be really a tragedy if 50 deep pocketed pros just blasted off a ton of bullets and 7 of them built huge stacks as a result and the prize pool gets to like 11M or even more

That's probably what is going to happen - another potential example of a tournament that will probably end up favoring the deep pockets.

There probably will be 2 add-ons as well, optional of course for an additional $5000 a pop.

Guess I should take out a loan from BOA and show up with $30,000, lol.

only non televised WPTs get live streams these days. Sorry Zo..cant have it all..just gotta settle for being a tv star and not an online one.

I picked up a flyer today in the poker room and it looks like 3 day 1's and registration each day through 6 hour-long levels for the main event.

ya william told me its gonna be 3 day 1s, thursday friday + sat, $5300, unlimited re-entry iirc as well.
