DavePoker meant to quote post 46, not the one about the long wait lines and dealer shortage mentioned in the other thread that was linked.

The payout calculator is now up, so you can see how much you stand to win.

Registered for Reunion online through Bravopokerlive

For anyone who has registered for the Reunion on Bravo, I would assume it will only let you register for one Reunion flight, is that correct?

Yes that’s correct and always like that.

If you try to register for multiple flights for any given tournament, system will give you error message saying contact WSOP

Yeah I think it was just the very first year of the Colossus they let me register multiple flights in advance.

Anyone know if you bust out in the money in Flight 1A in the Reunion, can you enter Flight 1B etc.? The structure sheet says Day 1 flights last 22 levels or 15% of field, whichever is later. 22 levels will almost certainly be later than the 15%, so it seems there could be quite a few who bust out in the money on the day 1 flights.

No confirmation but the WSOP Circuit does many large multiflights this way and if you make the money and bust before bagging you get paid for your finish and are free to reenter another flight.

If you bag, then you are not able to enter again and keep the biggest stack, but at the the end of the night you can surrender your stack before bagging. You will get a payout like you would if you busted the hand before bagging and then are free to reenter another flight.

Dont imagine the reunion will be any different.

Can you explain the benefit to pre-registration besides waiting in line? Like would it sell out? I will be there 2 days before the Reunion starts and figure I could just register in person a day before or as I plan to just satellite in.

Depending upon limitations of occupancy regulations at the time WSOP, there will be a possibility of reunion’s 1st or/and 2nd flight may sold out before the tournament starts. Again this is my opinion.

If the Reunion’s Ante is Big Blind Ante ? It doesn’t say in structure sheet or anywhere (Unless if I missed it). Does anyone knows? . Thx

* I like BB Ante . And I guess it is as Ante starts from level 1.

Thx Davepoker (:

I see that now on website.

OMG I have downloaded the structure sheet on 07/09/21 and that version only says Ante . They must have updated afterwards.
No wonder !!

Thx

If this were the normal times you could just about count on it getting sold out. The Big Fitty sold out the normal reg in every flight and had alternate regs into the afternoon. I think late reg went until 4 pm? I don't think anyone got frozen out, but based on announcements they kept making, it got close.

In the time of the rona? Who knows?

Yes no one can predict but restrictions on occupancy never existed before, which is a possibility this year depending on the situation at the time of tournament.

I am in favor of pre registration for peace of mind . I remember people waiting 3 to 4 hours as an alternate.

If I am spending 1000 to 1200 for Travell , hotel and tournament buy-ins , I don’t mind spending $17 extra for pre-reg

Fair enough but, say I do pre-register but before my flight I win a satellite seat to the tournament, am I able to de-register and get my money back? Other options?

Use a reward credit card if possible. You could effectively get close to half the fees back. With my Southwest Airlines credit card I value the points that at that rate anyway. In the past I have always found the added convenience gained from registering this way to be well worth it, and trust me I hate fees.

I think you do lose the fees in that case. I believe there is an online unregister feature if you decide not to play.

I think so, but read the WSOP website. It has extensive info on de-regging. The problem you then face is the registration line. It might just be easier to sell your lammers. You should know there is no change given from lammers and they come in only one denomination - $500. If you enter a $400 tournament, you just gave away a hundred bucks.

They will be having $130 satellites for the reunion, running each day prior, I don't think these are lammers based since they are designated for the reunion to support with 5M gtd. Good deal too if 1/5 get a seat.

It is a good deal but it is so sweetest and best deal for WSOP as the juice is whopping 30% if that is true

I'm not sure if it's that great of a deal speaking strictly profit-wise, since for every $650 in satellite buyins ($500+$150 in total rake), only $420 (Reunion is $420+$80 rake) goes into the Reunion prize pool.

However, I think most of us should feel content playing primarily for fun. The Reunion looks like it will certainly be a great deal in that regard. And if we happen to cash, then that's even better.

I mean we don't expect to come out ahead money-wise in other hobbies such as snowboarding or golfing, but at least with poker there's a decent chance of profit.

And to anyone reading this, of course I am not directing this at you, because you are definitely profitable. I am talking about all those other recreational players.

Not 30%, actually 23% if $100 is for prize pool and $30 rake. Good deal as for 1/5 to win a quick seat with little risk.

That sounds like a sucky deal, but then MTT's usually have more rake. I'd rather go for the $125 STT, so $5 less and you win two $500 lammers. Even if you throw away $80 in value by buying in with a $500 lammer, you still get more value because you have a $500 lammer left.
