How did he get away with this? It’s clearly against the rules.

They're definitely more lax about filming in the venue than they were 4-5 years ago. I'd say it's probably down to fatigue. When people are constantly pulling out their phones to record a big all-in, the dealers and floor run out of energy to police it. "Not my job. I'm not paid enough for this ****." That sort of thing. I took a super short video of the pavilion room on my first WSOP visit in 2018 and was immediately told to stop filming. I took a few videos this year and nobody ever said anything.

Had a spot in one of the turbo $200 nightlies where a guy went all in, got called, never showed his hand, mucked, shipped his chips, and left the table. I was the only one to speak up. "Doesn't he have to show his hand for an all-in?" Dealer didn't even respond to me. Whole table shrugged or was silent. Nobody gave a ****. I don't think he was cheating or chip dumping. I only mention it as an example of underpaid and exhausted staff cutting corners because they can't be bothered anymore.

Just look at the dealers in that vlog. Lots of tired faces. Doubt they really care enough to constantly ask people to put their cameras away. Easier just to ignore it.
