lol I see this guy a cpl times a month playing in so-cal tournies. He played a lot of the LOP series at the bike. Still a confirmed scumbag (for plenty of reasons beyond the ones mentioned in this thread)

I played with Souza at the Venetian Deep Stacks Event this year. We both made the Final Table and ended up chopping for around 21k 5-ways.

What OP described was definitely crappy, and if true, it is totally shady and downright wrong.

I will say that I was sat next to Michael for much of Day 2 and he was very friendly and a pretty cool guy (from my interaction with him). I don't know Michael personally aside from this encounter, but he seemed pretty down to Earth and didn't try any angle-ish things during this tournament.

With that said, he did tell me that he had X consecutive Main Event Cashes and that he was once on ESPN for either bluffing/busting/or getting bluffed by Chris Ferguson.

Nonetheless, I just wanted to chime in and say that he was a pretty cool dude at the Venetian DS and he didn't try to pull any b.s. during that time. Sad to hear if he really is an angle shooter though .

Did he try to angle-shoot you at the FT? If not, your experience playing with him is already better than mine..

I'm curious as to why the dealer didn't consider his hand an out-of-turn fold, & hold him to the fold (if the action didn't change) when it got around to him .. Also why other players "allowed" him to recover his cards without saying anything .....
Were the cards not tossed far enough into the middle to be thought of as a fold, or do you just think the dealer wasn't paying attention ...

I played in a cash 2-5 cash game with this guy at the WSOPC in Rincon. We were down to showdown and he declared that he had two pair without flipping his cards over. I then flipped over TPTK and he instantly mucked his hand. A few people questioned him about what he said but he just denied it.

Ok - Let's set the record straight. I have known Mike for quite awhile and he is not a douchebag at all. If people needle him, he will be the first person to question the player and ask him about his "resume" but whatelse can you do?
He is just a chill down to earth guy.... I don't understand why TT has to talk **** about someone he doesn't even know. Did he shoot an angle? I am not saying it didn't happen, but here is a little bit of info you DIDN'T hear about.

TT decided to call a clock on Mike after 10 seconds! The floor came over and asked the dealer how long it had been since Mike acted. Dealer said, about 10 seconds. The dealer then warned TT that if he did it again, HE would get the penalty.....

So I ask, who is the real douchebag?

LOL smart bump. Immediately after Doug got a penalty Michael Souza was deliberately stalling so I called the floor. I was not warned about getting a penalty.
