Hello everyone, GOLIATH 2018 V1 draft to be posted shortly. Feedback and questions are welcome. Based on the feedback of our players last year the first release will be a very plain draft. I will monitor this thread closely and make changes as long as I am able to. Please understand that in some spots I may be limited in what I can and can't do. Please let me know how you feel, or pheel about this year's potential offerings.

Wondering if there’s a way to get 1-2 more six-handed tournaments besides the one on 5/26?

I know logistics make this difficult....but feel like one $300-500ish Six-Handed tournament would draw pretty well.

Thanks for all the mix game events. Any chance there would be room for just a stud 8 event?

I like the schedule, I think you have a good balance: big NLH tourneys and a nice variety of non-NLH tourneys.

- I think it's good to have many 300$/600$ big NLH flights tournaments, as it's been very successful at PH in the past. I guess there's a typo for the Ultimate Goliath on June 11th and 12th, you have 3 flights, not 2?

- not really important but the Low Roller with 6 flights could be a special one (I don't know, the "Ultimate Low Roller ?!?) and get a 300.000$ guarantee

- very cool to have 2 "Triple Draw mixer" tournaments, perfectly set before similar WSOP events. Can't wait to play those!

- I like the "Big Bill 100$" event idea, great to offer affordable tournaments with a decent structure

- nice to see some Stud and Razz tournaments! I think 250/300$ is a good buy-in range.

- curious to see how many players the PLO "Bounty" tournaments will get, but I think it's a nice addition to the schedule.

- I would make the PLO high roller 6-max or 8-max

- I would add a 130$ or 250$ Dealers Choice event in June and another in July, those tournaments are the coolest!

You have another 6-max tournament on June 10th.
But I agree, one of the Goliath Stacks 400$ tournaments would be great 6-max

Love the fact that you are growing the number of mixed games. And well done for getting a draft schedule out so much earlier this year and inviting player feedback. Just two things if I may.....

The 8 Game event is scheduled for the day after the WSOP 8 Game $1.5k. Can you please make this the day before the WSOP event - it would make for a great warm up.

There appears to be no 2-7 TD this year. It was really well supported last year and a big success. Please add it again, ideally on 12th June which is the day before the WSOP $1.5k 2-7 TD.

I would suggest more 6-max event.
I guess that it's the favorite format of the players.

You have only 2 on your draft (5/26 "Big Dill" $75+$25 and 6/10 "$40k in a day" $165+$35).

NLHE WSOP has 4 6-max tournaments (6/7 $1500, 6/13 $3000, 6/28 $5000, 7/11 $10000).

Maybe can you change your 6/11-6/14 Ultimate Goliath ($600) in an 6-max event (maybe with a $100 rake if it'a a problem). This event would be ideally placed between the WSOP $1.5k and the WSOP $3k).
It would be great to have another one around the 1st of July. I don't know wich kind maybe a "Big Dill" or a "$40k in a day" ?

Only one dealer's choice tourney - which I'm fine with - but it would be great if you could move it to June 3rd, the day before the WSOP dealer's choice. I'm not sure myself or others will even be in town yet on May 29th.

In fact, looking at the schedule, is there a reason for having many of the non-nlh tournaments after the corresponding WSOP ones instead of before? Currently, it's:

May 31st - $1500 wsop omaha 8
June 1st - goliath omaha 8

June 2nd - wsop $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball
June 3rd - goliath triple draw mixer

May 29th - goliath dealer's choice
June 4th - wsop $1500 dealer's choice

May I suggest the following:

May 29th or 30th - goliath omaha 8
June 1st - goliath triple draw mixer
June 3rd - goliath dealer's choice

Also, less important, but do away with the accelerated structure (and increase buy-in to $165+35 to make up for it if need be).

Agree, 5k$ is too much. 1500$ or 2000$ is fine. 6-max or 8-max is important. Not sure about 1-day or 2-day...

Around June 8/9th (just after WSOP 1500$ HORSE) or around July 10th (before WSOP 3000$ HORSE)?

I think you would get a much bigger event with a 500$/600$ buy-in (1k$ is too high for many mixed game fans).
But anyway a 2-day HORSE event is a great idea!

5/30 may be a better spot for the Omaha 8/b
6/1 does look like a nice spot for the trip draw mixer
6/3 looks like a nice spot for a dealer's choice

you should get over 100 runners for a straight Big O at $350. You will get the the mix O/8 WSOP crowd in the that weekend willing to play.

The golden nugget gets a good turn out for their $250 Big O tourney.
