Granted today was a noon start on a workday. Tomorrow's noon tournament should have a good turn out.
I'm not a big fan of Harrah's Chester (although I was one of the 174 runners on Friday). But your comparison to Parx really isn't fair because, as you noted, Parx offers only one tournament per week at night, while Harrah's Chester has two tournies a day, every day.
If you spread those 384 players out over 7 nights, that would come to 54 players a night. I know - you can't mix apples and oranges but that's what you're doing.
Plus I can't stand the crater-size potholes in the Parx
parking lot and, on most days, a LONG walk in the hot sun to get to Parx East (could use a shuttle bus like Disney World). At Harrah's Chester, you don't have that problem with the
7-story parking garage and no exposure to the 100-degree blazing sun where this fair-skinned dude tends to cook like a freaking chicken on a rotisserie.
