Two key changes as a result of this thread to the HORSE, Stud variants, and mixers (besides anything dubbed turbo or accelerated)

15K starting chips instead of 10K
First level will have a 200 big bet - flop games are 50SB 100BB with 100-200 limits and stud games are 25 ante 25 low card 100 complete and 100-200 levels.

The structure sheet I picked up today for the $210 + $40 HORSE tournament at PH does not reflect these changes. Also, I'm assuming the former 1st level becomes the 2nd level, and so on?

Correct, in the process of replacing. Today's (5/27) HORSE will have the changes I mentioned. Just adding a new level and bumping everything down - 15K chips.

please post final structure for horse tournement so i can decide if i want to play, you can't have people late registering a limit tournament with less than 10bb effective stack, as its posted you have people that can late register with less than 2 bb??

How is Planet Hollywood venue for this tournament. Read all 9 pages (mostly rants about BB anty) and no one mentions how the event is actually being handled.

How are the poker dealers?
How are the tables? Are they the small tournament tables or the larger ones with built in drink holders?
Are the tables to close together or spread apart enough?
How are the chairs?
Is it noisy with loud music?

I find the WSOP to have good tables and never had trouble with the dealers. Tables are far enough apart and good chairs. Can reference that if you need to.

Tables: Just be glad if you aren't sat at what seems like a craps table (high rail)... this happened when down to 2-3 tables of MTT last year.
Drink Holders: I don't think so, can't remember tbh... but just getting a drink at all is often an issue.
Spacing: Fine
Chairs: Flimsy (bent legs), wobbly chairs not unusual there.
Music: Never been an issue to me.
Special Bonus: If you play a mixed game MTT, be ready when they combine tables and then just decide on the new game instead of drawing for it, despite the protests of multiple players!

PH has some of the worst dealers in LV for tournaments. The ones I have seen at PH are horrendous. Can't split pots, can't collect antes correctly, don't wait for action to complete before trying to burn, misreading hands. Bad stuff.

My experiences over the past 3 years have been good and I intend to play several events this year. One bonus is that you can spend your breaks at the nearby Earl of Sandwich.

Other than that, I really enjoy playing tournaments at PH. The dealers can be hit or miss, but the vast majority are pleasant and I've never had any negative issues dealing with the floor personnel. The chairs are comfortable enough and there is sufficient room between tables. I'm looking forward to being there next week.

As a specific example, a few years ago we chopped a $200 daily tournament there 13 ways, with 12 of us getting $5,200 each and no 1099 (one guy got a few hundred more as he was a foreign player who wasn't concerned about a 1099).

Just played (and busted) the 2-7 Triple Draw 300$.
118 entries and 9000$ for the win, which is pretty cool for a rare form of poker.

Kudos to TDChrisG & his team, I find the schedule very smart and the location even better than previous years. Great festival overall!
