1) Is Philadelphia International Airport my best bet, meaning is this the closest one to the casino?
2) Any chance their is a shuttle to and from the airport? Or is there another way to get to and from the casino without breaking the bank?

Appreciate all advice. Thanks
IMO you should just drive, takes me like 6 1/2hr to drive from Buffalo to Philly, roundtrip flights can end up being 500+ from Buffalo if you don't book earlier enough.

I strongly agree.
Given the hassle of flying nearly anywhere nowadays, a flight from Toronto to Philadelphia to play in a $300 tourney should trigger an immediate mental competency hearing.

this is completely harsh and unnecessary. Also, it seems really counterproductive to discourage anybody to come just because it might be "too expensive."

I never indicated that "too expensive" was a component. On the contrary, it's the meager $300 buy-in that stands out.
Come to Philadelphia/Atlantic City for a $3,500 Main Event.
Come to Philadelphia/Atlantic City for a $1,650 weekend event.
But why fly to Philadelphia for a $300 tourney?
Hell, he can probably find a home game in Toronto for nearly that much and save the nuisance of flying.

nah man, you're just a dick. saying someone needs to be mentally checked out because they want to fly to play one of the smaller buyin tournaments in a series is really just completely out of line. Flying to parx can be a precursor to other things (like, for example, I saw a couple turning stone regs hanging around Parx this week to go to Borgata next week). Maybe it's more about fun then it is money.

Posts like these should be absolutely discouraged and punished. It's astounding to think that someone would insult someone coming in from out of town for reasons unknown. This is basically just helping drive potential clients away from the venue/series.

Pierre i totally agree that posts like this should never be made.. poker is not a job to most people, its a hobby.. especially this series which is trying to draw more casual players who look at this as a hobby, why would u think its ok to make a post like this that will discourage a most likely casual player from coming to this series??..

Due to work i'm not even gonna be able to play any of these events and i'm still pissed off at this.. great job putting this series together matt it looks great, just wish i could play it!!

Cya tomorrow at del park Pierre

I agree with the previous responses - what purpose do you serve to put down a guy who obviously likes the structure/chip stack/guarantee for a $300 tournament?

Totally uncalled for and I hope he comes down to play - He'll have a good time and maybe win some big money!!!!

2pm is great. Poker players do not like waking up early (particularly on the weekends). And for those who make it past 1am, it will be worth their while regardless...

Might have skimmed over this, but is there a way to pre-register online? I predict the $300 - $150k guarantee will be slammed, especially day 1C as it falls on a Friday...

I plan on playing the day 1a flight of the 300 bucks tourney - I'm planning on being there by 10am to be able to sign up as the tourney starts at 11am. That's a safe buffer, right guys?

Looks like an awesome job, Matt, and I'm very glad to have stuff like this now to contrast with what you get at Borgata. Very good job recognizing that you just can't compete with them on sheer field sizes or high-roller stuff and I think you guys are doing a great job of appealing to the more casual players while also creating great value for the people who fall somewhere in between.
I don't remember approving 10-20 to 15-30k are u certain on this?

Yes Allen. We both overlooked it. Not that huge of a deal with the extended structure as it is but I will make sure its added for Big Stax II.
