Odd that the MGM does not have this posted on their website.

sorry but it's not sure,
it can be a PLO5 as you can read here : https://www.vegasmixedgame.com/mgm.html or a stud8/BigO as you can see here : https://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/fes...hp?a=r&n=41841
They announced many versions of the schedule and only MGM staff knows which one is the correct one. It would be great if they posted it on the website but I don't believe in Santa Claus anymore

I'm right outside of Philly, also playing in the $3500 MGM Poker Championship at Aria (thank you Borgata for the $20 ticket ). Don't know anyone going and none of my friends can make it. You going by chance?

I will be in LV June 20th to 25th. I assume if you play mix games in the Philly area you play at PARX. I go there occasionally.
Hoping to play in two MGM events - Tuesday PLO-8, OMAHA 8, BIG O and the Big O on Friday

BTW - I found out that opening the MGM schedule posted on their site using Microsoft Edge only shows you the first 2 pages. Opening it with Crome I was able to see the entire schedule.

Any good tournament from other series you recommend during the week-end right before the Main event? Looking to get a warm up, and would rather not do so on the mystery bounty of the WSOP event.

Multi-day tourneys:
$600 500k guarantee at Golden Nugget has flights on Friday and Saturday (day 2 is Sunday, dunno your specific Main start day plan); S-points and structure pretty great for a $600.

$1600 1.5M guarantee at Venetian if you're looking for something a bit spicier

For one day tourneys:
Aria $400 50k guarantee goes both Fri and Sat
Wynn $550 100k guarantee goes Sat

Aria structure a bit slower than Wynn for those, obv Wynn higher guarantee, I like both venues.

Thanks! I am arriving on Sat 2nd. So will probably look for an event on the Sunday. My Main Event day is 1D. Plenty of time!

Do you know if there is somewhere an Excel or PDF with the list of all tourneys in all casinos? I've seen it in past years but not sure where it is. I remember it had S-pts in front of each.

Interesting to see that the S-pts for the WSOp mystery bounty is better than the Venitian daily deep stack!

Careful with your timing on the two events

Day 1 D Wednesday July 6th and on that is also the 3rd day of Event #68 the mystery bounty. Additionally just running Deep on Day 2 of the mystery could make a relatively short night for you to start the MAIN.

A better fit for the two Events is really Day 1B of the Main.

Mystery Bounty #68
Day 1 A July 2nd
Day 2 July 5th
Day 3 July 6th

MAIN EVENT #70
Day 1B July 4th
Day 2 July 7th
Day 3 July 9th

As to softness of start days for the Main ? Hard to really know although Day 1 D historically has the most entrants so I understand your assumption as to field strength and it might be correct.

Anybody have any rough idea of how late the Aria $400 50k guarantee can be expected to run on a Saturday/Sunday (11 AM start)? I'm going to be out there with the GF in a couple weekends and will be looking to fire this, just want to have a general idea of what time commitment a deep run would be for planning purposes.

According to the gentleman who runs the S pts website he is estimating that this will hit the money with blinds of 6 and 12 thousand. That is Level 18 (which means 9 hours of play plus break). tell the girlfriend if you win it , it will be a very late night.

Does anyone have any general idea of how late the South Point 3 day 75K ($240) day tournaments run? Day 1 start times are 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday with day 2 on Thursday at Noon. My guess would be 730pm(ish)? Has anyone played it? It started running weekly last week.

Thanks in advance

I played this the first week. Monday, 117 entries with 18 moving on two day 2. We bagged around 9pm.

https://www.facebook.com/southpointpoker will show you more data on other day's results.

I played in one of the Aria $400 buy-in events last October during the rescheduled 2021 WSOP and made 5th place. Cashed out at 2:00 a.m., leaving 4 players still at the table.

Orleans had about a $73k overlay in their $333k guarantee tournament that I played a few days ago. Today they announced they are cancelling all their remaining big guarantee tourneys in the series that were scheduled. Quite a shitty move, and I definitely won't be going back to their casino this summer.

Running a huge multi-day NLHE the same weekend as the Monster Stack just wasn't the best call.

Would've been a good time to run a PLO or some other type of counterprogramming.

I went by there, and the area they were using before for tournaments, that's usually packed with tables, was empty. It was weird. No summer series next year, I bet.

I wonder if it was because they usually got a lot of Rio overflow since it was so easy to get there from the Rio.

Tough to eat the price of a two-way Lyft/Uber just to play some $200-400 event. That's most of your ROI burnt on travel. That's why I totally skipped Nugget and Orleans this year. No disrespect to them, but it's just so much easier to plop down at Paris and play something convenient. No incentive to go elsewhere if they aren't offering anything fundamentally different.

Orleans had a free shuttle that picked up at Caesars. They used to have some good $200-$400 tournaments, and I always used to play one or two of them depending on my schedule.

Curious if the Aria $400/$600 1-day NLHE tourneys are re-entry, and if so, how many? Unlimited?

Same question for the $240 O8 and Mixed Game tourneys at South Point.

Intel from anyone who has played any of those this summer would be appreciated. TIA
