Any idea as to where it will be played ? It would be nice if upstairs as the old Orleans Open's used to play.

I'm not sure how many runners these will get, but I am pretty sure The Orleans is cancelling all of their regular tournaments.

With the size of their room, I'd think they would be held in their regular poker room, but I can't verify..

I definitely think they are going to need extra seating. The tournament area hits capacity at ~ 125 - 150 players and there is going to be big demand for cash games.

I'm guessing there will be pretty good demand for the $400 Senior NLHE event and Day 2 of the NLHE event runs at the same time as the Omaha event.

I'm imagining the $15-30 O8 tables will be very busy during June and there will be some Stud/8 to be found as well.

I've seen in the past they just overflow out into the hallway area near the entrance.

this looks awesome....i talked to ryan mcneel who engineered all of this and he says they are adding 15 extra tables for a total of 27 dedicated tournament tables, this should make for a great summer series...also brand new chairs for those looking for that extra bit of comfort

Missing the structure sheet for the 6/1 11:00 AM $125 NLH Superstack.

Looking at just the regular $150 NLH tournaments--the Orleans is going to be tough to beat when it comes to lower priced tournaments in terms of both vig (20%) and structure (55 S-Points).

I asked on Twitter, the response is "We will be using the same structure as our current daily superstack"....

The weekday $25,000 guaranteed $125s look good. Relatively low rake and a the structures have a solid S score on those tournament ratings calculators. (Better than any of the Rio Daily Deepstacks, for instance.)

I know it was asked above, but does anyone know if they do a poker room rate? Looks like they also have a free shuttle to the Gold Coast and strip. Doesn't seem like a terrible home base for a low roller. The new chairs on their website look really nice too.

Yeah, my GF is coming out for a chunk of my WSOP trip and I'm trying to get her into poker tourneys, and planning on firing one or two of those with her. Seems a very good value.

I’m pretty sure there’s no poker rate at Orleans. Still a really good place to camp out for a couple of weeks, rates are quite reasonable.
