I’m playing event #37, #44 and maybe the main (scheduling conflict so probably not). I did not make it last year so wondering if they fixed the on-site register lines that were so bad at the Rio?
I started registering online the last few years at the Rio but if on-site lines are short I would rather save the online fee if I can.

The lines only got longer.
Now that covid is not as big an issue they will probably be even longer this year.

Just noticed event #44 is not available to register on Bravo, any idea why?

I've never had a problem registering because I never wait until the day of my event.

I always tell people the same thing. Hit the cage after 10PM the night before your event. Minimal wait time.

If you're arriving day-of and won't have time, maybe online reg makes sense.

I open my Bravo app and don't see how to register.

Best time to go to cage is late night or early morning. I went to complete registration in the past at 6am and there were only 4 people on line.

I doubt they will ever get shorter. Not until they dump their antiquated software and completely replace their system. Which they won't do because they're so cheap. They would also have to double or triple the number of registration cashiers.

They haven’t opened all the events to register yet. They’re doing it slowly for some reason.

As an aside, the Bravo app sucks and looks like it was built in 2007 or so. I can’t stand using it and hate paying the extra fee so I always register in person.

If you don't already have an account, you'll have to open one (with your Caesar's reward card) in order to log in to register for a WSOP event.

I can get there on my laptop, but is there a way to open the app on your phone and get there? I would like the flexibility to register for daily tournaments on site in case the registration lines are long.

Don’t thing there is anywhere on the app to register, you can look at schedule, tourney clocks and cash table info but not register.
Pretty sure only way is to register by mobile is to pull up the website on your phone.

Sure you can register on bravo app. Log in to your a/c select tournament > venue .
The WSOP schedule will be displayed. There is Register now button on right .

Event 37 is already on Bravo Live
Event 44 should be on soon .

What are the fees for registration using the Bravo App?
Is it $3.00 per entry regardless of the event, is there another fee if you deposit cash in advance at WSOP Cage at Horseshoe?

There are additional fees applicable to online registration and the chosen method of payment.
Additional Fees: There will be a $3 processing fee added to each event transaction for using the online registration system or any TBIC transaction.

Credit cards are charged an additional 2.95% fee to use this method of payment. (Fees for American Express are 3.95%).

For international credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard or Discover), there will be a 3.50% fee, in addition to the $3 processing fee for each transaction.

In addition, anyone who uses a wire-transfer or cashier's check are still subject to any fees their bank imposes (the WSOP does not impose any fees). These are typical fees used in the payment processing industry for online transactions of this nature, by the vendors and providers of these services. Participant is responsible for payment of the full registration amount and all applicable fees.

I went to register the Monster Stack ($1500) last night on Bravo via CC and they were asking for about $50 in fees (~3%).

I backed out. That seems excessive to me for a simple service, so I'm likely to just bring cash to the cage at a later time and duck the extra rake.

I don't think there's ever a fee to register with cash. It's other stuff like credit cards that gets you the extra charges.

I'm not an expert on this because I always pay as I go, but I believe you can simply wire or bring a bunch of money to the cage and then use that money to register for events in the app. Then you can print your tickets at your convenience on-site.

Thank you DogFace, that is what I thought, I've been a "pay as you go" person, but the lines last year were horrendous and I lost my Platinum access, so trying to decide best way to handle registering this year.

I am thinking of paying cash for the Monster Stack when I show up for the Mystery Bounty two weeks earlier. Can you do that -- pay cash for an event two weeks later? I heard that there is a minimum $2500 deposit to 'load your WSOP' account with cash. Maybe I should bite the bullet and pay the 3% CC surcharge and use Bravo?

I'm going to pre-register for the massive weekend events and then pay as I go for the rest.

I think I bought a Colossus ticket in 2019 a week or two before I played the event. I don't anticipate it being an issue if you want to buy a ticket from any point between now and the event.

On the topic of wait times, I've never had a problem at the cage after ~9-10 PM. Most people have busted their MTTs by then and cleared out of the building, so lines are typically minimal late at night. Easy to get all your tickets bought then. What you don't want to do is show up at 9-10 AM on the day of your event and expect anything other than a zoo.

Can't speak to the WSOP account, as I've never utilized it.

I reg'd by wire transfer, am shown as reg'd, and didn't pay $3. My worst fear is someone will tell me to go wait in line to pay the $3.

I’ll be going with Diamond status for the first time this year. Are there separate registration lines for us fancy pants types?

Yes for 7 stars and Diamond

If you register for an event -after- it has started, do your chips go into play as soon as you register, or only after you sit down at the table?

If it's the latter, could you register just after the start of the event but wait several hours to sit down?

No, you have to be Diamond for two years before you can use the special registration line.
