Does that look like the kind of thing that a tournament director is supposed to be saying? Does that statement not pretty clearly express a preference of one participant to win over others?
Suppose Tiffany has a penalty overruled like Hellmuth did. How would that look now that the tournament coordinator is in the public media stating that he wants Tiffany to win?
I know I can never ask for a tournament director to be impartial as long as a woman is still in the tournament, but at least he or she should be refraining from expressing that bias as a matter of public record.
