The EPT London is at the Hilton Metropole again. I stayed one night in that hotel last year and moved to a new room, as the bed was way too hard for my tastes. If anybody has any recommendations for nearby hotels or 1- or 2- bedroom apartments for rent, I'd love to know.

Thanks, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Thx for the kind words, but I don't drink, and won't be at WSOPE. But please have fun enough for both of us.

Hi All,

Online Sats will be running for EPT London starting this evening. Also, seats will be available for purchase at the Vic for EPT London Side Events very soon.

Online DBI to all EPT London Events will open one week before we begin, on September 21st.

Cheers,

Neil

Neil, are you running sats to the ladies event again this year?

Hi Lou,

Yes, there will be an EPT London Ladies Package to win online. The Ladies Package will play out over the weekend. A £100 Super Sat on Friday (Oct 1), a £500 Main Event on Saturday and Sunday (Oct 2-3) and a £200 on Sunday afternoon (Oct 3).

Tha package itself will include the £550 Ladies Main Event and £950 for travel and accomodation. They should be up very soon. Regular EPT London Sats went live today, so the Ladies ones will follow pretty quickly.

Cheers,

Neil

Like I understand throwing in T&A for like a 5k or w/e but this seems redic.

Yes, that just occured to me when I re-read Neil's post.

Train from anywhere in the UK should cost no more than £100 (assuming that no one is coming from overseas to play a £500 event). Leaving £850 for 1-2 nights in a hotel?

Perhaps Neil meant total prize package of £950?

Hi Guys,

The package was designed to be 3 nights of hotel and we based our price off what our nights at the Hilton Metropole are. Obviously if you live in London and come on Day 1 and go bust, there is a lot of extra in your package. However, if you make it to Day 2 and go deep and are from Dublin or Amsterdam, then the package is just right for having 3 nights plus travel.

Cheers,

Neil
