WSOP time in Vegas is like the Super Bowl of poker. Your request is similar to asking a Super Bowl site to reserve a place in line for all of you at a beer tent. It's just not going to happen.

Hope you and friends have a great time tho/Good luck playing WSOP
Yup, there are sometimes lists with 200 people waiting. Their best shot is to all show up at the same time somewhere like Caesars at 8 or 9 am. If you can't all get on the same table, keep table changing.

I'll drive across Las Vegas Blvd on Flamingo weeks after they should be done paving it and then straight to the Horseshoe/Paris parking garage. No harm, no foul. Other parts of that loop aren't in play for me at all.

What’s the room temp like there? I know people were complaining about it being hot but did they get the AC sorted out by the end of the series?

I remember it being fine once they had sorted out the initial problems. Personally, I actually preferred the freezing conditions at The Rio, but in any case I don't expect the AC temperature to be such a conversation point as it was back then!

I'd say from out the door of your hotel room > elevator > casino > small walk through shops to WSOP convention room, you're looking at a 5 minute trip.

WSOP events are divided in 2 casinos. One on the Horseshoe side is near one of the horseshoe hotel tower (Resort Tower) Horseshoe convention center is 2/3 minutes walk from there.

Other WSOP tournaments are In between horseshoe and Paris connector walkway . May be 5 minutes walk from either casino entrance.

If you're booking a room at the Horseshoe, try for a Resort Tower room, as the elevators are very close to both the Horseshoe ball rooms and the walkway to Paris. The other tower (was the Jubilee tower, not sure if they've renamed it) is further away and requires a walk through the casino. The Paris elevator lobby is pretty conveniently located as well.

I stayed in the Jubilee tower last year, in a room near the end of the hallway, and was still able to make it to my room and back comfortably during breaks. It was nice to have my own bathroom to use and have a couple minutes of peace and quiet, and I appreciated the walk to stretch my legs. This year I made sure to book a room in the Resort tower for my first trip and the Paris for my second, so I have a few extra minutes before having to head back down.

Which event is a better structure? $1500 millionaire maker or the $400 Colossus?

Which one would you play if you could pick one?

Colossus : 103 “S” Points (As per PLOG )
Milli Maker : 141 “S” Points.

So if I have to choose only according to structure , I will go with Milli Maker .

But the cost difference is big factor in this comparison.

Colossus $400 vs Milli Maker $1500.

There are many different criteria for players to choose the tournament they wants to play during The WSOP.

1, Budget ( entry fee )
2, S Point
3, Poker variation
4, Vacation dates availability from work or business.
5, Jackpot Guarantees or possibility.
6, Their history in WSOP previous years.

For me combination of # 1,2,3,5, & 6 .

And eagerly waiting for complete list of “S” point from PLOG. His list is very helpful to decide.

Any advice for my issue? Booked 14 nights at the Horseshoe (Diamond Member) that was the max. nights possible but I will stay 16 nights. When I will book two more nights they show me resort fees and standard prices. Should I book the two night while my stay in Vegas or are the special conditions/no Resort fees for 14 nights only? Im from Europe so dont have any experience how this works.

When do you actually draw the bounty envelopes? After you bust?

In the order you knock someone out. At least the best they can.
I believe they give you a ticket similar to a payout ticket for normal tournaments to keep you in order.

Maybe for the WSOP being held in Bally's. Quite a bit longer for Paris.

When you book online there are limits. But if you call in, they can avoid those limits. The only real limit is like 30 continuous nights, which is a Nevada regulation.

I would suggest you call in and they can add the additional nights to your reservation and you won’t have to pay the resort fees. Just have your Caesar’s Reward # handy. It’s also something you can probably sort out at the registration desk at the hotel, but of course, in-person help isn’t what it used to be in the “hospitality” industry.

Lastly, if calling from Europe is a problem, or you don’t want to wait, you can book the separate stay for the two nights and send them an email with your two confirmation #s and Caesar’s reward #, explaining the situation.

I was able to deposit cash money in my WSOP Tournament Buy In Credit account today at the Paris Main cage today. As in past years, there will be a $3 fee for each event I register for online through Bravo, but I will be able to avoid the long lines and use the kiosks to print out each tournament entry.

Just FYI, the minimum cash deposit is $2,500 this year. The clerk said that she thinks the minimum $2,500 amount for CASH deposits into TBIC accounts will continue throughout the series this year.

What's the difference between a Horseshoe or Paris garden-variety front money account and a TBIC account? It all spends, or not?
***OFFICIAL 2023 WSOP THREAD*** Quote

The TBIC account can be used online and at kiosks to buy right into tournaments.

Still a little confused on the when. Do you miss hands to go to a table to draw an envelope? Or do you just go whenever?

What I understand is they come to the table with device like iPad or something. After you enter bounty the screen will say you won 1000 to 5000 or will say congratulations go to the stage ( different wording though )

I didn’t play the bounty last year, so don’t know actual procedure. Will definitely know this year as will be there .

Good Luck to everyone here , who are playing the event.
