All that requires a bit of overhead to set up, so who knows exactly how they will handle it, unless they just do it the first time you win a satellite.

In any case, I’m not sure what other “account” they could be talking about depositing winnings into.
I would not be in favor of this since I don't app.

I think you can use the bravo website as well, though that may be a difference without a distinction.

Can you use the bravo app for daily deepstack buyins or just bracelet events?

Fairly sure you can. I think I did that last year.

It would be a pain. Supposing I won something in a satty. It sounds like I would have to go to my room, fire up my laptop, and enter something from my "account". It would be somewhat of a hassle if I was staying at Ballys, much more of a hassle if I was staying somewhere else.

Why couldn’t you use your phone?

I’m not speaking as someone completely familiar with the process, as I have never used the account. However, I don’t see how this will be in any way less convenient for those players who want to use satellite winnings to enter other events.

Your satellite money goes into the account. If you want, you can register online (app or website) for an event using the money in your account. Then you show up and print your receipts at a kiosk and go to your seat. Sounds pretty easy to me.

Or, you go to the cage and register there with the funds from your account. This is no different than registering in person like before, except you are not carrying a ton of cash around. I’ve never done it, but I would be surprised if paying with account funds takes that much longer at the cage. If it does, there is always the online option which skips the whole process.

The only real inconvenience is for those people who don’t want to enter other events with their satellite winnings and just want to sell their lammers person to person, avoiding any tax burden. For them, this new process would be decidedly more inconvenient.

Absolutely. You can use it for all the listed events, and of course it works on your phone. It worked very well last year and I pretty much only signed up for events (and re-entered, frequently) using the app given how slow the cashier lines were. I am especting to do the same this year.

Has anyone experienced technical issues logging into their Bravo account through their phone? I can log into my account on my laptop, but I receive an error on my phone (Samsung 23+). Have tried multiple times, cleared the cache in the app, restarted my phone, ensured I'm entering the correct password. No luck. Very strange!

I have regular problems. Logging out of app and logging back in usual clears it up.....

You don't even need the app if you're that averse to technology. You could stand in the line the normal way and say you want to buyin with your TBIC account (I assume this is where the satellite winnings will go).

If you mean smart phone, I don't have one. I'm like Jamie Foxx in Spiderman, can't use touch screens.

If the cage can just take the "money" from the account, then you're right.

But then I don't see why they're canceling STT's. Both STT's and Mega's paid in lammers, STT's should be able to continue if Mega's can.

Because they likely either can't or don't want to support it.

The regular Horseshoe cage really doesn't want to support the WSOP. It interferes with their primary business of table play. I assume the " accounts" discussed are just like when you establish funds via wire transfer to Paris. It's great if you know your approximate buying for events. But it can be a bit of a pain to get money (cash) out for non wsop play. At least that has been my experience.

I know single table were paid in lammers.
Mega’s ( if understood correctly “ The Dailey Deepstack“ ) were paid in cash if I remember correctly. The dailies top prize use to be 10-25k , always cash$$

Megas are and have always been different than the Daily Deepstack, and Megas paid in lammers as well prior to this year.

All the events I wants to play is decided.

I am planning to pre-register at-least 1 st event I am playing ,to avoid mad rush at the registration window on the day of tournament. ( Million $ Mystery Bounty)

I talked to a reliable source yesterday at the WSOP management team , and was told online registration will be live any day within next 2 weeks.

I am tracking Airline tickets prices for last 3 weeks. I was told by many experienced people here to wait until April. But the Airlines are not changing any pricing.
Instead as of today all the flights I was watching went up suddenly by 10% across the board !!

I am still holding up !

My records indicate that online registration began April 24th last year. I hope it is earlier than that this year as I am eager to jump on it for the same reason/event that you mentioned. I hope it is in the next two weeks. I don't have to sweat airline ticket prices as I will be driving up from the Phoenix area. The thing I have to worry about with that is that route 93 N of Wickenburg and the stretch of I-40 to Kingman is filthy with nasty and even dangerous potholes. C'est la vie.

I talked to a Sr. WSOP Operations Manager. I think it will be open before 15th April

I played 50/100 Stud8 and 50/100 OE, the games are hit or miss depending on the lineup. Since most players dont know each other, I would sit in a game and observe, if it looks good I stay otherwise I would pick up and leave.

I plan on playing the Monster stack and fly in 2 hours before the event LOL... so in person regging doesn't seem like an option

When reading the Bravo registration its say's you need to validate before hand? Does this mean when available in a few weeks I can't pre register since I'm not validated yet?

"Players who register online will need to visit the Champagne Ballroom located in the Le Centre Des Conventions in Paris Las Vegas and have their identification validated. Once verified, players can simply pick event(s) online via Bravo, utilize the self-service kiosks located throughout the Paris and Bally’s convention centers to print their seat cards, and go directly to their table.

You can pre reg with a credit card once that’s available. But before you play the event you will need to verify your identity by presenting the credit card and a legal picture Id. In years past, the desk for Id verification was different from the usual cage lines, but I don’t know if that is the case in Paris. Fortunately you only have to do the id check once per year, but that may not help you for this event.

Question for those in the know or who know where to find the info. I am interested in 2 events, the super seniors (#61) and the deepstack championship (#64). Both say 4 day events, does that mean they run 4 consecutive days or are there days in between? Can find the structure but not the schedule other than starting day, June 27th and 28th respectively.
