3-4k because it's on a Monday. There will be a lot of people in town because of the main, but the lack of weekend flights will keep it from being too crazy IMO.

Given how they are pitching it, you might want to look at the Marathon totals for last year and this year and go from there. Last year was, as I recall, the first year for that event (I entered last year but not this year).

It's gonna be a lot different than the Marathon. For one, the price point is drastically different. For two, Marathon had MUCH longer levels, and was scheduled as a week long tourney, where the Mini Main is a 2 day tourney.

I think Mini Main is going to be a very large tourney, and may end up actually running to a 3rd day.

I was thinking the same thing. This tournament, I think, will generate a large field due to the name alone.

I was thinking more like 5,000-7,000 entrants.

Yeah, I agree. It's also surrounded by events that people can make a low buyin trip out of, like Colossus, Crazy Eights, Salute to Warriors, and Little One for One Drop.
