GG poker is offering satellites to win seat to WSOP main event in Vegas. I want to sell it if I win it. They say prize is non transferable though. Do you think I could sell it once I go to casino to get ticket (for a discount)? Understand that I am not trying to sell it here. Please don't delete my post moderators. I am curious as to the answer.

The terms for Club GG Poker state: "The Prize Package is non-assignable, non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash."

I know, but after you already get the ticket at the cage, I doubt my name will be on my seat assignment. I know when they run live satellites inside the RIO they gave away lamers to the winners and they discouraged/forbid people from selling them but you could get away with it.

GG Poker has a partnership with the WSOP. They will transfer the $10K to the Rio, with your name connected. You will do something like go to the cashier, show ID, and be given your seating assignment ticket (player copy and dealer copy). These tickets indicate if you bought in with cash, chips, lammers. I'm assuming there will be a 4th category indicating you were a GG satellite winner. If I were to pay cash for my seat, and then go back to the cage to unregister, they see that I paid cash, and will refund me in cash. If I paid in lammers, they will only refund me in lammers. If it says I'm a GG satellite winner, I would imagine the policy is "sorry, no refunds on this".

If you try to sell your seat ticket to somebody else, it won't work. The ticket has your name on it, and the person who uses the ticket to sit down at the table has to show the dealer picture ID with that name. Plus, even if you trick the first dealer, the person who bought your ticket doesn't have their name in the system as having registered. If they cash, they aren't going to end up getting paid. You have to show ID at that stage also, and the cashiers do a lot more than just glance at the name and picture on the ID.

Highly recommend you don't try to win a seat on GG unless you plan to play it yourself.

Yes, GG absolutely wants to know who you are. What if you win? They'll want you to take pictures, give interviews, etc, etc. That stuff is probably in the TOS for the satty.

I'm 95% sure your name is on the seat assignment. That's what they use the players card for, to fill that in. I'm also pretty sure they check your id at your first table.

Lammers are just "coins/tokens" without any names on them. They wink and nod at selling them because using the lammer system saves them IRS paperwork.

Also, if you win under someone else's name, you probably forfeit the tournament, get banned from the property, and attract unwanted attention.

Is GG one of those semi-legal online sites?

yes it is legal, pretty easy to get stage 2 tickets and not bad getting final stage ticket. Final stage expect 5 or 6 hundred playing for 4 seats.
