tourney structures generally suck at this casino and this one appears to not be much of an exception.
anyone planning to play?
anyone know if the level structure changes for day 2? It says 40 min levels for day 1s but nothing listed/no indication of changes for day 2.

BTW for anyone unfamiliar with this casino, the $200k is indeed gtd to first place, not overall prize pool.

Never played here myself, but I wish they didn't schedule it the same time as the Monster Stack. Was thinking of playing this, but I'll be in Vegas.

lol. It's not gonna be a disaster but the fast levels, 2k buyin, and not releasing the info/details until like 2 months in advance of the tourney is all pretty ******ed. there's probably a chunk of players who would have played a $1k that are gonna be priced out of this. why can't it just be a 1k 100k gtd to 1st?

I will be there. Levels remain at 40 minutes through the duration of the tournament.

Each Day 1 will play down to 10% of the field for that day.

Day 2 will resume at lowest blind level finished from Day 1 A,B,or C.

I actually played Day 1A today (busted earlyish).

It's a pretty decent structure with BB ante which speeds things up a bit, so would recommend playing.
If you're expecting deepish stacks throughout, it's definitely not that.

there were 70 entries day 1.
As for the second question, I'm not really sure what you're asking. There are a couple pros there, maybe one per table, then there's some guys who sort of have a clue, then there's fish.
It's always a very soft player pool at LC.
