@LAPT Staff: Here's my feedback for this year's LAPT Lima:

- Organization: Just great, everything went smooth like last year, TDs/Floor did a really good job as well as all people that were working in the organization of this event!
- Events: Personally, I hope that there will be at least one more side event with a BI 1k+ next to the main/high roller (similar to last year's Lima Events or the upcoming stop in Punta del Este). Furthermore, I'd like to see the highroller having a slightly slower structure, e.g. 40min levels with 6 levels time for a reentry. The schedule was done pretty good with starting the HR at 6pm, which enables to play it even when getting deep in the main. Furthermore, I hope you consider making the super sats (I'm talking here about the one for the HR, not sure how the main event one was) as a reentry too. I think it profits both players and organizers as it enables players to have multiple shots and creates a bigger price pool and thus a bit more juice...
- Dealer: little bit more mixed compared to last year. I had dealers which where really good and fast, but others where I was concerned they sleep in at the table, getting bet sizes wrong constantly and so on.
- Hotel (Package Deal): really good and a big improvement compared to the solid Estellar Hotel last year. For a lot of packages (not just LAPTs), there's like 1k value reserved for the hotel and one ends up in a solid hotel but within a category which you can easily book for ~600$/5 nights privately. The Hilton was worth every cent though - great choice!

Summarizing, I really enjoyed this trip and would like to thank you for the great work!

while I didn't stay at the Hilton, agree with pretty much everything else Thorsten said above. Great event!

One other thing I'd like to add: The 60-minute dinner break on day 2 of the $500 re-entry doesn't make a lot of sense. When the break started (6:00 pm), there were only 9 players left and since the structure is super fast, it's not like we would be starving by the time the FT finished.
What's more important in my opinion: this break takes away the opportunity of someone who goes deep in this event to enter the High Roller or the Turbo that start 6:00 pm saturday. Even with 2 hours for late reg, I wasn't able to make them.

Hi Thorsten,

Thanks for the feedback. We really appreciate it and are glad that you enjoyed yourself.

The current schedule is pretty full and getting a $1K event would mean making the Second Chance more pricey. Its something we will look at. The reason that was/is possible in the events you mentioned is the ME was $2,500 and the SC was $1,100.

The HR structure is pretty tight as it is right now with the 16 or so hours available for this event. Adding re-entry to the satellite for the HR is definitely something we will consider for next season.

Sorry to hear you had some bad dealer experiences. I will take this up with the casino in our review of the event.

I am gald you liked the Hilton, I enjoyed it myself.

Thanks,
-thomas

Hi mapof,

Thanks for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed the city and the event.

The dinner break in the Second Chance could be skipped if all the players agree to it but after 6 hours of play, we usually have some hungry campers.

Hi random,

Just to further clarify, you can always buyin to any event via your PS account at our on-site registration desk as long as the registration is still open. The reason we close the registration on the client for the ME is for clerical purposes as we need to produce a final list to used at the registration desk.

Thanks,

Hi again Thomas,

I'd like to give you some feedback on last years's Panama stop since this season's next leg will be there as well.

Please, please, please go with your staff a couple of days earlier than usual and train the dealers you use there. I know most of the personnel you use in Panama as dealers work as roulette croupiers, hotel housekeepers, etc. but still, that's no excuse for them to be so bad at dealing.

If there's one advice I can give is try to create a pattern for them to understand how to collect the antes properly and give change for large chips. Most of them had great difficulty with this last year, slowing the game very much and tilting the players understandably.

3 or 4 friends of mine that go to all LAPT stops every year will skip Panama this year because they couldn't stand the dealers there.

Please don't let it become a less pleasant stop because of this issue.

Hi mapof,

Thanks for your comments. We will do our best to get the dealers better trained this year. It was something we addressed with the casino last year and they are going to hire a dealer trainer to to come in and teach them as much as they can starting this week. They also plan on bringing in some experienced dealers from out of town to help deal the event.

We are aware of this issue and hope that these steps will help alleviate any extra tilt you may experience at the tables.

Thanks,
-thomas

additionally, the food offer and Wifi Service will be improved this year, as well as elevator circulation control.

We are looking forward to a superior experience and offer this year, I encourage you to come and meet us there.

Hi wynnkid,

We plan to have the schedule for next season out before the end of this season. The stops and dates will be pretty similar. Hope you will join us.

Thanks,

I'd love it if you could put two stops in a closeish geographic area close to each other date wise - eg 2-3 week gap. Like EPT with San Remo, Monaco. It's a long way to go for a lot of euros/North Americans for one tourney, but two with a holiday in between!!!!

i hope the schedule is out before December when i have to submit my master leave request for time off for the following year at work.

Hi bergeroo,

Unfortunately, that won't likely happen as we need the time between events to run qualifiers online. Typically, we have 8 weeks between LAPT events. We don't really have the same amount of players as the EPT to run qualifiers for 2 events at the same time.

I do suggest that you try and play some of our BSOP satellites and that way you can travel between Brazil for BSOP Million and Uruguay for LAPT Grand Final, for example at the end of this year.

Thanks,
-thomas

Hi wynnkid,

I hope so too. Let me know when we get closer to that time with which event/s you are interested in and I will do my best to give you the heads-up.

What is your current plan for a date to begin the Uruguay qualifiers?

Any chance you could start them a little earlier since it will be the Grand Final? Panama satellites seem to be doing well and I don't think would be hurt by a few Grand Final ones also. Maybe just a few a week until Panama begins or something. Thanks.

this
also would be great if u can remove the $82freezout sat, or make it a 2x chance but better have two 109 2x chance or a $50R like before to get more seats per sat

Hi all,

I will look into starting the GF satellites a little earlier.

g3r4rd0x - I don't know about changing the $82 freezeout as some players don't like the 2X or rebuy factors so we are trying to have a little something for everyone.

Thanks,
