We are delighted to announce that Europe’s longest running Poker Festival, the Irish Open, will once again take place over the Easter break, running from 3rd – 10th April 2023.
Ireland’s premier event venue, the RDS Dublin in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, will host The Irish Open 2023. The RDS hosts many world renowned events annually and the Irish Open team are delighted to partner with such a prestigious venue to bring you an Irish Open to remember!
The €1,000,000 GTD Main Event, with its €1,150 buy-in, will run from Wednesday 5th-Monday 10th April 2023, with multiple starting days available to suit all players.
The Irish Open Main 2022 Event drew a staggering 2,040 entries to create a €1,989,000 Prizepool, with honorary Irishman Steve O’Dwyer lifting the trophy and taking home €318,700 for his efforts! 🏆💶

The deal will see both brands promoting the event, the tournament being live streamed and online satellites on both PokerStars and Paddy Power platforms, similar to prestigious PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) events. The tournament will feature a Main Event guarantee of €1M Euros, and PokerStars will also run an online Irish Poker Open series ahead of the event and will announce further details shortly.
