Will be hitting the tournament circuit starting next month and wondering if there is anyone here in the Houston area traveling the WSOPc, HPT, and WPT stops. Looking to study and have people to know on the road. Just seeing who all is out there. Heading to HPT Daytona Beach Mid October and Choctaw WSOPc beginning November.

I will travel for some of them, but usually fly out...and if there is just a slew of NLHE events, then I usually skip it. Durant is one that I usually would just drive up the morning of the event unless, like the Seniors, it was a 10AM start...

Am thinking about just doing the Vdara for the month of June next summer...convenient for everything I would be playing and I like having the kitchen and W/D and no resort fees (when booked by the month).

Good to know on Vdara, thinking about doing full month of June for the series too.

I fully expect to get a ration of 'that's too much money, blah, blah, blah' from some of the life nits around here but as noted, it is center Strip, has the kitchen, washer/dryer and no resort fees when booked for the month. A monthly rental for less elsewhere requires a vehicle or a lot of time waiting on cabs/Uber/Lyft. I have no problems with paying for comfort and convenience...plus it lets me come and go while still leaving stuff in the room for a few days instead of having to check out and then go through the check-in process again.

The monthly rental option is in one of the drill-down menus on the Vdara website...
