Hard Rock Cincinnati is holding a Mini Tournament Series Monday Feb. 28 - Sunday March 6th. $500k Main, $1500 buy-in, 3 day one's (6a-6b-6c), $5k double bag. 6 events in total, including 50k Seniors on 2/28.

I'm immediately crossing it off my list because of the 30 minute levels day 1 for their main. $1500 main and they expect us to play 30 minute levels? Hard pass for me.

I would recommend the Lodge in Austin main event. $1200 buyin, $1.5 million guarantee. 4 starting days 2 flights a day.
Wednesday March 2 - Monday March 7th

50,000 in chips, great structure
40 minutes day 1
50 minutes day 2
60 minutes final day.

Only problems I see with any poker tournaments in TX is ,the status of poker legality is questionable.

I know there are many clubs popping all over TX . Same time every now and then we hear the news of legal problems too.

These rooms are also a 16hr drive apart. Very few people within a 4-5 hr drive of Cincy are going to make a trek to Texas just because there is a bigger tourney with a better structure.

I agree though, 30 min levels on Day 1 of a $1500 isn't great, but I guess they wanted everyone who makes it to Day 2 to be ITM, which I like.

Yeah it's cool to make the money day 2 but for $1500 I'm sorry 30 minutes is a joke imo.
