As a player, I can't see any value in paying a surcharge for the privilege of registering late for an event. I'm already getting taxed by paying the same as everyone else has for a smaller starting stack - in relation to the current blind level.

I'm supportive of revisiting our late reg time frame - not sure if any other changes can be made.
Rake free for everyone that registers before starting time!

A Open Face Chinese tournament would be appreciated. Not sure how the marked in USA are but it is a popular game here in Europe.
$200-$300 with re-entry

Well, considering the amount of people that late reg this would cost me 0.04% of my revenue

Hi Chris
You probably heard the huge response from the poker world after WSOP announced a 1500$ "Mystery Bounty" event with a 250.000$ bounty!
Everyone's excited and it sounds amazing.

I guess the logistics for that kind of event are complicated but... would you consider running a "Goliath Mystery Bounty"? Might be a 300$ or 400$ buy-in?

Another new event launched by WSOP: a "9-game Mix"! I love the idea, the WSOP price is 2500$ and if you could run a 250$ or 300$ version of it the day prior, that would be fantastic!

Late Registration- I agree with everyone here, just shorten the registration period up, right now its way too long.

Dealers- I don't know the solution to this but I know this has been said many times before, offer more training to the ones just off the street, some are incredibly bad there.

If some dealers have difficulty with simply dealing Texas Hold'Em, imagine the nightmare you'd have if you add these types of variables into the mix.

Keep it simple -- shorten the late registration period to a reasonable number of levels; don't allow registrations on Day 2, or even near the end of Day 1. I also like the suggestion of having a separate late registration and re-entry registration period, though those should also be a reasonable number of levels.

Thanks for offering this opportunity to listen to players.

I agree with the consensus of the rego period generally being to long.

In terms of tournaments: I played in 2018 at PH, and you guys had a couple of 1M GTD 600$+R NLH, those were great tournaments, not sure why they dropped of the schedule in 2019. If you could bring them back that would be appreciated.

Also maybe a NLH 1.1k - 1.5k Main event, ideally early June

And if its not to much effort maybe a progressive bounty, that would separate you from the Rio...

Generally if you could have a couple of extra events in the 600$+ range that would be preferable.

One final remark: any chance to get the Poker room isolated (or insulated, not sure which is the right word). As it stands now the SMOKE of all SMOKERS gembling downstairs rises to the Poker room and is quite annoying. If you could propose some sort of separation that would be greatly appreciated.

One 2.5k-5k PLO around the cluster of big WSOP PLO events, another just before the Main Event would be pretty cool.

Really would like to see a senior warm up event Tuesday before the Wednesday warm up event at Rio. leading into Thursday for the WSOP senior main.
The Rio $250 warmup drew huge crowds before the senior main.
Seems like a no brainer that week

I am also seeking out non holdem events. There is enough options for holdem everywhere, so its the other stuff that determines when I come out to play.

I agree with reducing the registration period. I've always wondered why it was so long.

As for the reentry question, I think certain main events like WSOP should stay one entry. Nothing wrong with reentry events, but I think you could hold some freezeouts with higher buy ins which I feel are more prestigious since you can only enter once. Reentry events, however, lead to big prize pools. Hold both types of events and give people choices.

The cash room is so small, any chance at running some cash games in the tournament area, like WSOP does?

The casino wants to make more money. They rake every entry.

Years ago the standard was freezeouts in the dailies. The casinos finally figured it out after the players kept trying to tell them how to make more money, that late entries are money makers.

That's really a good idea. For someone that's never played poker before, like casino executives, they would say players should just go downstairs. But they are stupid, and their business would be better if they had cash tables in view of the tournament tables and vice-versa.

Also, while the scenery downstairs can be nice, it is really a terrible poker-playing environment.

I was thinking this too but forgot to write it. The location is poor which sends me to other properties when I'm out of the tournies.

Hi Chis, First let me say how great it is that you get player input for making the event schedule, it is really appreciated. I have never played Goliath before but have read mostly good info from players. One person mentioned a non BBA event, I strongly disagree with that. I play a lot of MSPT events and local tournament events and will never play an ante tournament that is not BBA. As you know BBA speeds up the game requiring less change to be made, less ante calls from the dealers and eliminates the "who did not post the ante". I will be in Vegas June 21-30 and hope to have a chance to meet you in person. Thanks Peter

BBA pretty much across the board. 95% or greater of NLH will be BBA

The schedule looks very good, except no Omaha hi/lo 8 or better at all in June. I can't get there until June. I stay for about 2 weeks, and that is what I go to play along with the Stud 8. All of your Omaha events are pot limit. Any chance to stick one of them in there somewhere?

only one 6-handed NLH tournament in six weeks ! What a disappointment ! You can add some with a bigger rake and maybe a less good structure because everybody knows that it's more expensive to organize... And why not a 6-handed 2 days event tournament just before the WSOP $1,5k 6-handed (june 3rd) ?
