17 - 20 depending on number of players. Each flight plays until 7% of the field remains.

I can's speak to individual events, but as far as the series is concerned, the rakes are in line with what other venues have and have come down a bit on average in the sub $300 buy-in level compared to last year. This doesn't seem to be a reason to complain about the PH series.

In addition we do not hide our fees, other events in town advertise as PP + fee and the 8th bullet point down in the structures mention additional fees.

17 levels would be ~ 555 minutes or 9.25 hours. Guessing we get closer to 20 levels played as each flight plays to 7% of the remaining field. That puts us closer to 11 hours.

If you want the blind sheet per tournament ( instead of downloading the all lot)
Click on the tournament --> https://vegas-poker-schedule.com/planeth/

-Credit Card registration!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in just 2 short weeks!
I have played an event or two at the Phamous series the past few years and my only big complaint was the lighting. Kudos to you guys for fixing this.

The only other minor complaint is that cigarette smoke rises and people who smoke seemed to do so by the escalators during tourney breaks. I felt like I was getting 2nd hand smoke from casino patrons and tourney players on break.

Unfortunately, cig smoke gives me headaches so if a tournament series is held next to a designated indoor smoking area, I must take that into account.

I realize its Las Vegas and casinos allow smoking so my question is petty in nature but I've always used the escalators to access the Mez, is there any other way to enter/exit the tournament area?

Maybe it was smokers breaking the rules so I'm not sure if the people on break last year were allowed to smoke right next to the top of escalators, but IMO smokers should have to go downstairs to the main casino at the very least.

There are ashtrays on the other side of escalators, so not breaking rules.

Also instead of the escalators, behind the tournament sign up last year is a set of elevators you can use to avoid the smokers.

This year there is not a smoking area on the mezz as in year's past. That will certainly help a bit!

Anyone played an event here yet? I am interested in a report on the new lighting, chairs and dealer quality.

We've had complaints over just one of our 72 tables being dark, zero complaints about chairs, and dealer issues seem lesser than years past. We've had a few, not going to deny that, but doing our best to coach them up!

Played today. Lights ok, chairs ok, worst dealer I had today would have been a slightly above average dealer in years past.

Biggest complaint is registration. But that's not really all on Planet Hollywood. Big 50 drew tons of low buy in players to Vegas, today's flight sold out yesterday so everyone flooded to other cheap tournaments. Add to it that all those players showed up to register at the tournaments start time and it was a long wait (about 90 minutes around the tournaments start). Planet Hollywood's part was just having 3 cashier's to serve that line.

All in all, 4 out of 5, would recommend. Just show up 30 minutes early.

Is the upstairs Mezz cage being staffed 24/7 and, if not, what hours will they be staffed. I arrive shortly after midnight on Thursday (and am staying at PHo for that first night) and would prefer to get the credit card verification out of the way early on in the trip...

Thanks for the report. I will put this series back in mix for consideration. If I play any events, I will report back on conditions.
