Last year's PLO8 progression was Aria $470 (Sun), PH $600 (Mon) and WSOP $1500 (Tues). I thought it worked well and expected to see it again. Last year's $600 tourney made nearly 120% of its $50k prize pool guarantee. Not sure why PH wants to cut the buy-in (and its fees) on this particular tourney.
I'd like to see the price and guarantee for the PLO8 warmup moved up to 2018's levels.
+1 at surprise on this buy in being smaller this year .
Am slightly bias as I might not play a 200 where as I’ll definitely play a 600 but good arguments above.
You might find at that 200 price level you are a bit more likely to clash with a nugget or binions type schedule too.
Like the 1k ones and I’m guessing those are one of the reasons you chose a 200 instead of a 600.
Whatever you decide thanks for the work and drafts / discussion .
