As for 2016 I don't know what direction we will go. If it's entirely up to us we will use the same policy, waiting for direction from above.
So if all players agree on different payouts and want to end the tournament, then the house will not support by paying players the agreed amount???

I may be reading this wrong... Correct me if I'm off.

That doesn't sound like it's protecting players as much as it's protecting PH from liability or something. It seems like if all players agree, then house pays out agreed amount--everyone wins... There is less BS, scamming, etc. But if 1 person doesn't agree then it's obv a non-deal and no harassment should be allowed.

Just, and still, think PH policy toward this is pretty ridiculous.

But... To bring back on subject, I like your structure and game selection this summer.

Think you missed something. Referencing last year only...if all players agree to a chop or alteration of the prize pool and the tournament ended then we fully supported this and paid / reported the agreed upon chop. What we don't support is a deal that leaves money on the table, pays a bubble...basically anything that alters the prize pool AND keeps the tourney going. This is where the players and house both lose protection.

Appreciate the kind words about the game selection and structure

So the kind of deal where there are 2 left and they say they each take 40% and play for the remaining 20%? No go?

Heads up I'd consider making an exception

NLH heads up 64 players max $520 + $80 June 30th at 1pm. Single elimination format until final 4 players remain which will be best of 3 for the final 2 rounds. 10K chips per round 10 minute levels starting at 100 - 100.

These will be events "HU1" and "HU2." This way we don't have to renumber all of the events and create any confusion. We will be releasing the full flyer and updated structure sheet around the end of next week.
Sounds great. Would think going from 10-minute to 15-minute levels in NLH would be greatly appreciated, and wouldn't add much more time to the tournament. (An hour in you'd still have blinds at 250-500....just 20 BBs each if players are tied)

WSOP offers triple triple draw: 2-7, A-5, badugi. Would rather play that mix.

Didn't seem like he was whining. A-5 and 2-7 are very similar so I'd think most would prefer badugi in the mix as well. And like he says in the WSOP it is in the mix.

My bad. Apologies. I thought badugi was in the mix and you were asking to drop A-5. I agree that I'd prefer same as WSOP, but this wouldn't stop me from playing.

I don't care either way if badugi is added or not, but I am slightly disappointed that it's up against maybe the largest non-holdem event at the WSOP ($1500 omaha-8). As I feel right now, I'm probably gonna play the triple draw mixer at noon, and if I bust, late-reg the $1500 O8, which starts at 3pm.

Thanks again for listening to all of our feedback.

Now that it seems as though the schedule has been pretty much finalized with the dates for the HU events picked out, can we have a final finalized schedule please (unless you have more ideas to add...)?

Here's something else pretty cool that two plus two will be the first to learn about...

We have decided to donate $1 for every tournament entry for events (including daily turbos) starting May 26th with event 1 through through May 30th - Memorial Day ending with event 6 to the USO. In addition Quantum Poker has agreed to match that $1 donation per entry for the Quantum Tournament (event 1). To learn more about the USO please visit https://www.uso.org/

TDChrisG thanks for the HU additions. I really like the PLO HU addition. Do you have the link for the final schedule? And the HU structures?

Also a suggestion, can you make the HU games best out of 3 for the ITM matches. Or at least for the final HU match in the NLHE?

hoping for the final package to be released next week. And the semi-finals and finals are best of 3 for NLH per the post

Oh I missed that part when reading it somehow. The thread is really long haha. Thanks so much for all the effort and all the suggestions.

One more question, how long in advance can we reg for the HU? The NLHE probably won't fill up until the day off but the PLO might fill up quick. Also if we do register in advance but we make day 2 of a bracelet event or some other tournament will it be easy to unreg?

I just played horse quantum tournament NOT quantum reload at the bike.

Basically its a 1/7 horse satellite for $350 with excellent structure and 15k chips.

Advancers take that stack to day 2.

There were several of these flights and players can also buy in to day 2 for around 2k with 100k stack.

A lot of issues i had with the original quantum reload idea were addressed.

Different chips are used on day 2.

Day 2 would revert to around 1/2k limit for all players and direct buys.

There's no advantage in buying in day 2 as avg is around 100k from the qualifiers.

This would be a huge idea for ph series.

Probably would easily pass $200k with enough prelim flights and 2k direct buys on day 2.

Thoughts on this?
