The Wynn released it's schedule for their next tournament series. The Wynn Fall Classic. http://wynnpoker.com/wynn_classic.cfm

Will be heading to Vegas for that one. A $1600 ($500k GTD) Main Event and the $1100 ($400k GTD) European Open with a 3-day structure and around 200 online qualifiers for that one. Should be a nice event.

on the website it says the European Open is a live streamed event

http://wynnpoker.com/wynn_classic.cfm

Does anyone know the details behind this? Only the final table or a feature table throughout the tourney?

It is not, however your tournament entry includes complimentary self parking for the day, and for each additional day when you advance (day 2's etc).

We also have guidelines to qualify for complimentary parking and valet year round. Please feel free to DM for more info.

I would like to remind everyone that complimentary self-parking is included in your Wynn Classic entry. Lots of questions about that lately.

Hope to see you there!

DM sent. Poker rates are available however a bit limited as the hotel is at capacity on some days during the Classic.

Very good. We had 673 players for the European Open, creating a prize pool of $665k.

The tournament scheduled to begin on Monday was revised to two starting days, and received 441 entries creating a prize pool of $230k.

The Main Event begins on Friday.

If Wynn hadn't already moved to my #2 favorite behind the WSOP for the summer, this would have put it there. Bravo. Any venue that wants tournament business should provide parking validation with tournament entry (props to Binions for this also).

Neither the Rio, Venetian, or Planet Hollywood charge for parking.

True, which is fantastic. But in this Wynn thread and I want to specifically praise Wynn for offering this to tournament players after the property itself went to paid parking. I didn't want to call out Aria yet again, but they were the main implied culprit. Rio was already free being off strip, and PH/Venetian are free to encourage people to go to their shopping malls; we're all glad they're free, but they aren't doing anything specifically for poker players. If their parking policies ever change, I hope they see and follow the Wynn model.
