Hi I'm going to the ept in Prague and was wondering about the cash games. How are they? What times are usually the best to play? Will it only be regs or some vacation gamblers also? Thinking about joining the 330 € nl event also but are a bit afraid of it being a all in event with the 25 min levels, am I correct?

I'm a frequent at 1/1 € live and breakeven at 50nl online (havnt played much online).

Sorry if it's placed in the wrong forum. Couldn't find another thread regarding the cash games either, please link if there are.

Hi, If you can put the blind structure is better to analyze.

25 min blind levels live is like playing a turbo on stars.

Never been to Prague but cash games on EPT festivals are amazing.

Games get tougher at 5/10, table selection is more important here. At lower levels games are soft depending on your skill.

I find the cash games interesting because you get some stereotype players like:

-recreational players that want to be in EPT cause it is nice

-players that exit the tournaments and spew some of the tilt on cash tables
-nice regs that go along festival only playing cash games

Lower limit in Cashgames (think mimum is 2/4€ in Hilton) in Prag also have long waiting lists. Not so long as in Barca but still you have to wait. Also the games are not so soft like at other stops. Many East- and Northern Europe Regs. Not so many recreational players.

In the smaller casinos in town you will find very soft 40c/80c Casgames with the usual "gamblers". For low limit cash its the better alternative.

According to pokerstars website there should be an ~2.2/2.2 cash game as the lowest one, thanks for the answers!

Barcelona is the sickest one. this year during EPT at 1pm there has 150 players on waiting list for 2/5 and 50 players to 5/10.

Have been to Prag until today.
Its correct. Lowest was 50/50 CZK (25CZK~1€) (waiting list mostly around 20-30 people)
Next Limit was 50/100 also mostly 20 people on List

Was thinkin about going to Prague this december during the EPT to play small stakes cash games, but I´ve heard the waiting lists are pretty brutal. Any point in going there during the EPT if you just wanna play small cash games? Would´ve been nice to get the EPT expreience as well but I don´t want to spend the whole trip waiting. The event is in Hilton but I was planning on playing mostly at the Ambassador, Savarin and Showdown. How are those places during the EPT? And what are the smallest games running in any of those during that time?

Any info is much appreciated!

H0plop, last year the longest I waited was 30 minutes, most days I could take a seat instantly. Management were quite good opening tables, I was there the last 5 five days.

Regarding playing at those other clubs, it's mostly Czech players there and often they all know each other and sits there all the time. Lowest level on ambassador atleast is 25/25 so 1/1€. Would say I'm not sure during ept but those other clubs are pretty much dead, ambassador has tourists and locals, but it's not a good club. People can buy in for 1k so the game is thereafter...

If a budget for 50/50 at Hilton isn't a problem I would play there mostly!
