Foxwoods has taken down all of their WPT logos and such. They're definitely out of the WPT circuit.

I vote for A, B is way too small up top. And setting aside what's better for the players, it's a TV show, people want to see big money at stake.

When exactly is the WPT Bellagio Five Diamond in December?
I saw two sets of dates: From 3 to 8 and 17 to 22.

17th-22nd is what was originally announced and was perfect, they then changed it to 3rd-8th in order to have it conflict with their own WPT event in Prague.

+1

Bellagio will get a much smaller field if it runs the 3rd-8th than it would if it ran 17th-22nd.

Having the FT on the saturday of the busiest travel weekend of the year would be a total disaster, xmas eve is on the monday, hanukkah starts on the night of the 8th so this seems like the best timing to get non pros to play

1. Only 6 people make the FT.
2. The original week is a much better one for recreational players to miss work.
3. I don't know any Jewish people who care about Hanukkah, and it doesn't conflict with the original dates anyway.
4. They'd get a lot of Americans at WPT Prague and a lot of Europeans at WPT Five Diamond with the original schedule, now they'll get none at either.

I like payout structure B. Still a pretty healthy 1st place but flatter across the board. I def think you need to tweak your payouts either way. At Borgata last year, they got 1313 players and only paid 100 (7.6%) which is clearly too few. Not sure if that was Borgata's call or WPT's, but it needs to be addressed IMO. Also, any idea if WPT Montreal will tax or withhold $ from non-Canadians who cash?

I am surprised Payout B has received the most votes by Twitter and it's not even close.

Players who cash in the WPT Montreal will walk away with all their winnings. Playground Poker Club will not tax or withhold any amount from anyone.

glad to hear it. Does that mean you will start using that payout structure at Parx this season? or is it simply a suggestion you provide for host casino?

Same question here, Matt but for Legends of Poker and WPT Paris.

I looked at the prizes from the last couple of years and '10 LoP was pretty absurd. 1st place paid 21x 8th place (and not a small field either, paid like 40 something spots). I know WPT has steeper structures than EPTs, but EPTs are around 10x, which seems a lot more reasonable.

We just WPT payout B in Cyprus and it was well received. Hopefully trying in on the LA players next.
