The fall Wsopc and the January Wsopc will probably draw around the same numbers but the January event may draw a little better since Oct is the first Wsopc event in this slot.

This is the first time the WSOPC has held a 1K event at Choctaw recently but the would guess the numbers will be very good as WSOPC ring events always draw well at Choctaw.

I don't know why the TD did not list the ring events but you can find them at Wsop.com since all ring events reguardless of location use a standardized structure.

So I know this comes up every series but I'd like to bring it up again. Can we talk about changing the 5% payout? I think a few years ago when this started it was great. People saw the min cash being 3-4x buyin and really liked it. However, recently these numbers have been falling for the multi flight 5% payout structures. From lots of people that I know it is a direct result of the 5% payout that they don't play them anymore.

Now the times I have seen it suggested to change in the past people just suggest a normal 10% structure. The problem with this is you extend the tournament too long and it will run into Monday. I would like to suggest a payout system similar to that of the Colossus in Vegas. Play the 16-17 levels so we get down to 5-6% but pay 10%. This means more people cash, people can cash multiple times, people that bust in the money but don't make day 2 will put more money into later flights, later tournaments, or into the casino in other places. Seems like a win win to me.

The cons to this is tournament staff has more work because they have to do payouts for each flight. Also round for round will slow down play around that 12-13th level or so which might mean more people make it to day 2, but I think this is counteracted by the fact that people are already in the money and will play a little looser at the end of the night.

It is the WSOP-C event so it will be based on the 10%. All though the $200k, will most likely be the 5%.

I specifically taking about the 5% weekend tourney structures. All the ring events will be 10% payout.

Best way to get changes is to talk to Jimmy Sommerfeld the TD as he is very receptive to listening to players about changes, adding events etc.
