Site is down seems they are having problems and will probably be until Monday. In the meantime go to Facebook page ”bigtex’s unofficial Choctaw casino poker room-Durant ok” for any info on tourney results, schedule etc.

Debit cards are different from credit cards. This is why it is essential in these sorts of conversations to be clear what is being discussed. Fees that apply to one do not necessarily apply to the other just as the manner in which they are processed will vary.

As to BofA, it could either be the merchant code tripping their system as a fraudulent transaction if it was being swiped at the counter or it could be that the card has no room for a cash-advance transaction.

Can we post strat in this subforum? If so, here's a spot I'd love to get some feedback on if anyone would be so inclined. This was from the 200K event a couple weeks back:

Hero is in SB with 16K chips at 150/300 with 25 ante.

It folds around to middle position, where a similar sized stack opens for 3x. He's new to the table so no reads, but I heard him talking about placing 12th in the monster stack (event 1), so I assume he's solid. It folds around to the cutoff who has about 5K left and is a little on the loose side (not full-on LAG but looser than average). He ships it in.

Hero looks down to see pocket 10s

What's your play here?

I think I would call the all in, and likely fold if mp shoves once it gets back to him...Ps. Don't assume someone is solid just because they made a deep run

Has anyone ever played in one of the Super Satellites for the Main Event? The structure looks pretty fast and gambly. Can anyone confirm?

I always play the super satty and only missed winning a seat once in last 8 years. A good structure for a satty and no antis makes a big difference.

Thanks for the reply! How long do they last usually? 20 minute levels, playing down to 1 player for every 8.3 that enters.

12 levels-ish?

Usually about 7-8 hours and pays better than your calculations as you aren’t figuring in rebuys and addons. There are many many rebuys.

Another well run tourney by Jimmy, Bill and others. No luck for me in the Main, but rooting on my good buddy Chance who is still in it on day 3.

I heard the same complaint I have brought up time and time again by several players/dealers regarding the chip set. How they don't replace them with all the money they make on these tournaments is beyond me. The grey 5K chips should be illegal there are so many mistakes made with them.

Schedule is out for the January series. Looks exactly the same with the exception of the Monday ring event being at noon istead of 5pm. Also, the casino is hosting a points race. Seems like an awesome concept to me if they can keep track of everything correctly.

I like the $170 mega flip for a main event seat, no juice.

This is just awesome. They should dedicate a table when you enter the tourney room to the right to run these on main event day 1's. It would juice the prizepool and add some excitement to the room.

Anyone with inside info about the points race (bob) know if Choctaw will be keeping track of the points? Or if the players are responsible for everything? Again, seems like a fantastic idea and I'm in, just curious as to everything being tracked properly and how payouts will be handled.
