On a positive note...played the 7 game today 160 runners)...slow structure, great value for the buy in from my perspective. There were some issues with certain NLH and PLO levels taking on disproportionate importance, they probably could have rolled blinds back for those games a bit. But all in all, a great tourney IMO. Day 2 tomorrow with half the field left.

I do not want to lose another tournament to another penalty. I think the horseshoe is just being hard ass about things. I think they want players to be eliminated as quickly as possible. That is really what it's about. Have the players sit out a round and get blinded out. If they go on tilt all the better for the house.
Yea there have been alot of complaints about the penalty for exposed cards.
But how did no one else think that it was funny that "mucky" had a problem mucking his cards!

Real simple answer - just slide your mucks toward the dealer.

And does anyone know the entry count to the HU starting Tuesday?

What's the rule on iPhones/electronics? Horseshoe allows them, does CPC not allow? I seen guys with iPads out the whole day, but I got scolded everytime by one dealer whenever I set my phone on the rail.

you can text just not when in a hand. if you are on a call you are supposed to be away from the table. I have seen folks on a call in a hand and warned to get off.

I'm not sure, but I think you're not supposed to have any electronics "on the table". So that might be why they scolded you for the iPhone. Not sure why the iPads would be ok then since they were probably resting on the rail. Check with a TD. They can help you.

As long as you are paying attention to your hands, and not talking on a phone, you can do almost anything.

They have wifi in the room "Venue 6" but it is very weak and very slow.

323 on the board right now. Happily surprised.

It's 160+40 though which seems too high for a turbo and I pretty much never complain about annoying rakes

High rake, but with a 20k car added to a 6 tournament series of $200 series, still great value.

7 game structure was so good, I played all day today on day 2 and still didn't make the money.

No offense taken. It is obvious the only poker I can play is short handed and I really have not mastered it yet!
I think the exposed card rule sucks! Too severe a penalty.

I am one of them, does anyone know if there is an official media coverage partner for the CPC? I'm trying to figure out where to look up chip counts, etc.

Thanks

Bubble burst little after midnight (18 left). I'm guessing the tournament went about another 2 hours or so...
