^^ This is so true; and my feeling is going forward these re-entry events are bad for the poker economy. Short term the only ones that benefit are the casinos.

Did not talk to him about preliminary event structures, did not have enough time ....... Would assume they changed them to make sure the events get done in 2 days.... Didn't event 1 go into the third day last year?

Usually you can have a backpack. They just check it at security when you first enter the casino.

Apparantly they're paying out X% (10-15?) of entrants not re-entries.

THE FINAL NUMBERS ARE IN: Event #1 ($240 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry) at the Chicago Poker Classic drew 2,611 entrants creating a prizepool of $523,409. 198 spots will pay and first place will be awarded $96,837.
