Do the players on a TV final table get paid to wear the advertising we see? I remember signing an agreement at the WSOP to be videoed but I don't remember if you agree to wear advertising.

Nobody here has ever been to a final table so how would they know?

The value is based upon the likelihood of the logo (player) appearing on TV or other media. If they are not a top tier player, they are not likely to get much if any exposure for the logo unless they make a televised final table.

Once somebody has made a TV final table, I have heard that 15K or so has been a common figure the last few years. If the person in question is being paid to wear the logo throughout the WSOP, but has not made any TV final tables at the time the deal is made, and they are not very well know in the poker world, they'd be lucky to get paid 5K, IMO.

Of course, the more well known, the higher the price goes. If somebody with a very high profile were on the market, and wanted a deal just for the WSOP, they would get paid into the 6 figures, I would guess.

Doubtful that is still the figure given the decrease in exposure

LOL sure just like no one here has been at a final table.

Unless you are financially independently wealthy this is at best a silly statement. "Phony sites ? " Really .............. I guess actors and athletes should not endorse any products either as it taints their moral character.

Just show me where to sign to wear a patch or logo of a legit gaming site. I traditionally actually wear the apparel of the company's I work for at all poker tourney's ( Since I met the owner and a poker game 30 years ago and we always have a piece of each others action it seems appropriate LOL )

But for an easy payday that he would get a piece of the action I think I could stoop to being a "shill".................

I like to make the counter offer as well. I don't usually make it massively in my favor but I always want at least more than my chip equity, significantly more if I feel I'm the best short handed player at the table. My worst experience was when I was being my most reasonable.
