I made it up today for my first live tourney. Played 2 entries and made 2 horrible calls. I might be back up tomorrow. Registration was a breeze and everything seemed really well put together. GL to everyone still playing today

Jimmy, would you mind sharing the number of re-entries made in 4a so those of us playing 4b have an idea of how think our wallets should be?

It's constant, during the circuit, and other series here. We're lucky to have a well run series like this.

And I thought bigtex21 would be firing back. No complaints about the tourney and obv. Mr. Sommerfeld does an awesome job. Just stating the obvious.

easy there cowboy...this is a discussion forum...they do run a good tourney but cmon, it's getting pretty ridiculous. they could easily make this a rebuy/add on or make it a 450 buy in to make it player friendly but look at the numbers...why do that when they can rake 25 per 100...only one person in this tourney is gonna make more than the house...

I've been crying in my room about KK vs AA aipf. I agree the vigs are just getting ridiculous since I remember the days of 10% vigs with the casino having free buffets or food vouchers. But 18-25% seems to be the norm now, look at the World Poker Open in Tunica going on right now for example $300+50, $200+ 40 with 3% taken out for staff ect. Do I like it no but then I also remember getting 3K in starting chips and 20 minute levels that skipped many of today's levels and with better structures that gives us more playtime it does cost the casinos more money to put on the event. By the way I also miss 17 cent per gallon gasoline but again those days are also history.

Jimmy, Bill and this crew does a fantastic job running thee events. Look where we have come from in a short time with the options available to us and tomorrow look around and think about the coordination it takes to stage an event with over 700 unique entries and over 400 reentries. We get a good product that we not too along didn't have in this area.

BigTex, what time is breakfast in the morning? or was that this morning? I'll be driving back up in the morning.

Later!

How about 11 am? And Jimmy has the best crew and dealers around just play an in house run event and you will really appreciate him and his crew.

I figured you were going to say 9:30 or something along that line. Can that place get us served and we be ready to play at 12?
