Thanks for the advice. I would delete the statement, but I am not above saying I was wrong for the statement!
I do stand my ground that the prize pool is correct.
I will not allow supervisors to play anymore.
I will continue to listen to the players and try to make for a bigger and better tournament for the players.
Thanks again for the feedback!
I appreciate your responsiveness to stuff here too and I'm glad you're willing to take that point about the gripe comment because I took it as a brush off too. You do provide a good product and have a lot of people show up so you're doing something right.
Unfortunately I think lack of competition does affect how this casino and others like it deal with their customers. This is a little bit of a tangent but here's an example I just don't think you'd see in Vegas:
Other night after the cash game broke, went down to the pit area and saw some friends playing Ultimate Texas Hold-Em. Walked over and watched a while. The young female dealer was actively needling the players, actually sort of slow-rolled exposing her hand when they thought they'd won and just having a great time and laughing about beating them to the point that they actually quit playing. The floor lady was standing right there and I was interested in how to play the game and asked her a question about it and she just gruffly pointed out all the rules were on the table. Wow, ok. Nevermind then. They just don't give a damn - they don't have to, they have no competition.
One day these people will have to compete with corporate gaming. When that day comes, they won't all have jobs.
Clearly Jimmy, you DO give a damn, I do appreciate that! I'll see ya this weekend.
