of course...you don't get change for though...you have to use the full value.

Say the tourney total buyin is $365 and you have four $100 lammers, you will not get $35 change back. Ideally you should use three $100 lammers and $65 cash. You can usually sell the extra $100 lammer with the guy standing line next to you.

I can honestly say the first time I ever played Choctaw Holdem I made the final table went out 8th. It is really a fun game hope Jimmy will run it again.

I primarily live in Tunica, Ms but also maintain a home in Ft Worth. I'm in Ft Worth 3-4 months a year. Choctaw uses the address on my Texas drivers license which I can keep as a dual resident.

The Choctaw Holdem event was an awesome tournament. I hope we get to play it again soon. They should change the name of it to Oklahoma Holdem though, or something without Choctaw in it.

Headed to Durant to play the $200k on Saturday. How have turnouts been? Number of est runners? How's the structure?

I've never been to choctaw, is the poker room freezing like WSOP?

Weekend turnouts have been very good with over 1000 in last Fridays/Saturday tourney. But Durant is a weekend town and the numbers have dropped off during the week although most events had 100+ entries. I look for this Fridays and Saturday tourneys to draw very large numbers like last weekend. Structure is very playable. Room temp is comfortable unless your seat is over an AC vent then it will be chilly.

I used Startickets for my buy ins and had no problems. Choctaw's registration went fantastic even with around 1400 entrys Friday and more on Saturday. The lines were never very long either at will call or the regular line at the most a 15-20 minute wait. Sometimes the regular line moved faster than will call.

It will stop at 12% of the field left or about 1:30 AM whichever comes first. Restart 2PM. I was told that there is still some rooms available in tourney hotel block and many of the surrounding hotels have vacancys.

When I played in the Scotty Nguyen Dreamcatcher Main and made day two I needed a room. It was 2AM and by 3AM they had one and I was in it and asleep by 4AM. There is always someone leaving at strange times and you just gotta have some patience and keep on them to check for you. They were very nice once I got them to look into available rooms and not just blow me off with a "no we are full" story.

How are the evening events? I see they're typically only a 5k or 10k guaranteed but what are the turnouts usually like? How many people, how long do they last, etc.? Thanks in advance!
