Has Choctaw published the schedule yet? Normally they put out a flyer during the current series for the next one.

I haven't noticed one.

Schedule is now out. 3 weekends...1.5 million guaranteed, with buyins ranging from $100 ($100,000 Guaranteed) To the Championship Event at $1500 ( $500,000 Guaranteed)(Should be close to a million for that event alone) Also $25,000 in added money for Megas and Added money to Championship Event ( From Last years withheld).

Overall I think it will be a great series and HUGE Prize pools!

What is Event #19, a $5,000 Guarantee "Choctaw Hold'em" ?

Glad you asked.

You are dealt 3 cards. Bet preflop just as you would in holdem.
After flop you expose one card to all players
You will then have a betting round. Then turn , river as normal.

You can use any 5 of your 8 cards.

Just a fun game for a little change. The dealers tested the game on several single table satellites and loved it. Hey its just a little variety fun game. (Doubt it reaches the WSOP but hey have some fun sometimes!

$125 with $100,000 guarantee. That's quite the deal. Expecting a huge turnout for that one?

I would think No Limit Jimmy because if it is Pot or Limit, there will simply be no folding with 3 hole cards and the ability to use all 8 to form the best hand. Just my opinion.

I like Pot Limit. I think this should be a post-flop game. No limit would get all-in pre-flop too much for me.

Please NOT limit. It would be 5-way to the river too often.

With the exposing of the card I like pot also

One of the PLO tourneys should have been on a weekend. Pot limit should work fine for #19 tourney.

It seems they made the main a 1600 instead of 1k like the year before.

CardPlayer says event 16 is PLO, Poker Exec site says PLO8. Which is it actually? Also, CP site says the events are 230, not 240...

I would assume Poker Exec site is correct. Jimmy is on a Alaskan Poker Cruise but I'm sure he will answer this when he gets back Friday.

Before Chainsaw chimes in...I have all fees on my schedule and choctaws. Cardplayer site does not include the staffing fee. The juice is very competitive!
