Can you opt out of having your name/results submitted to sites like Hendon Mob?

I'd like to play in some live tournaments but I don't want poker tournament results showing up when my name is Googled. Can you request that they don't submit your name or use an alias? I'm specifically interested in the $125-$240 daily MTTs in Vegas but I'm curious if it can be avoided in bigger tournaments as well.

Most rooms will comply with your request. When you sign for your winnings, tell them you would like to be marked as "Do Not Report". Then it's on them to remove your name when sending the results to Hendon.
Of course there's always a chance it slips through the cracks, but the big rooms will have this procedure in place so it shouldn't be a problem.
